The unit is well packaged and easy to set up. Sadly it doesn't really do much to cool the room. On a 90+ degree day, running full blast for 4 hours got the room down two degrees (to about 80), and as others have noted the temperature sensor is seriously incorrect. The unit thinks it's about 6 degrees cooler in the room than the correct temperature. Returned and exchanged for a GE in-window unit.

Great overall purchase, the only pain is its not truly portable as the windows require to use the tape to secure the product. Overall the product is portable with wheels just the fit to the window doesnt allow you to move it around

Wasn't strong enough for a small bedroom. Would probably work better for a small office with not a lot of stuff.

I've owned many portables, and this one has hit the spot for my needs. I have a mini-split AC / heating unit installed in my home, but sadly, the air doesn't quite make it to my bedroom at the back of the house because of the way the hallway is structured. I needed to get something ahead of time for my bedroom during the ever hotter summer months in California. The portable window unit I had prior was just a MONSTER of a thing! It rolled, but it was just really heavy and a total pain to hook up. This TCL unit is super sleek, and although it's substantial in weight, not so much so that I couldn't bring it into the house on my own or had any trouble unboxing and setting up in the window. I DO prefer a dual hose, but given this will only be used in my small bedroom, it's actually easier to set up and REALLY cools the room down fast. I love that I can turn it on from anywhere via the app, and in the short time that I've owned it, I've had no problems with connectivity. I've used the fan function the most right now, as it's not really hot yet, but I've tested turning it on and off before leaving work. It's not silent, no portable is, so manage expectations. The noise even on high isn't bad though. I like white noise while I'm resting so it doesn't bother me at all. I haven't owned anything from this brand, but it seems to be of a high quality standard, so we'll see how long she lasts, but I'm happy with it.

Works well and easy to set up. Not fancy, but that's not always a bad thing.

The nosie it makes is a little loud for my taste, but manageable.

Says it will cool 300 sq ft. It does not. It will cool to about 15 degrees less than outside (100 degrees outside to 85 inside). You definitely have to give it a jump and start it early in the morning when outside temps are cooler just to give it any chance to fight rising space temps. The motor is one of the loudest I have heard from an AC unit. Definitely not for noise sensitive sleepers. The window frame kit is pretty cheap. One little fragile plastic pin to keep it together. No other screws or hardware to fasten the kit to the window, so zero home protection from window entry. The wheels do roll nicely across tile. Unit is compact but just can't handke the heat load as described.

Purchased and took it home. There was a missing piece. I called right away. Customer care said I could take a picture of where the missing piece was and the store would take that piece from another. I asked if I shoukd return the whole thing and was told no I didnt have to. I got to the store and, of course, that wasn't going to happen. The Manager was rude and told me they weren't a parts store! How unprofessional. I returned it the next day for a refund and will not purchase from them again! I drove 55 miles round trip twice to remedy this purchase! Ugh!
