I did my homework and looked on C/Net for a large screen tv to buy. They recommended this and I've got to tell I am NOT disappointed. Color is amazing, especially when hooked up to an HDR bluray player. Sound is less than desirable, but with a decent soundbar it's fine. To be honest I haven't heard a flat screen TV with good sound to begin with, so this isn't anything new. Remote is easy to use and I'm also a Roku convert to over usual SmartTV features.

This tv looks so awesome, lifelike picture, great details and colors. Make sure you have HD cable tv service or use bluray or netflix hd 2160p. Otherwise it is pointless because image wont be good as intended. Was kind of skeptical when setting it up for the first time, but once everything was configured it was nice.

The TCL p-series television is a good tv, but not great! I purchased this television because I was told it was the best lower budget set you could get. I also own a Samsung KS8000 65" set and this TCL doesn't compare to it. My biggest gripe is that the TCL doesn't look as good when broadcasting 1080p material. The Samsung looks great at 4k or 1080p. I have set my tv up with the settings recommended by rtings.com and still no luck finding the perfect setup. I purchased the 55" for the bedroom, while the Samsung is in my living room.

This is a Dolby HDR TV or a real HDR TV. It's not a HDR Pro or some other fake HDR TV. It is also the best gaming 55" TV with awesome input lag. With Roku built in, yu can't beat it for the money. I love it.

This tv is exceptional at its price point. I'm especially pleased with the Roku integration. The picture is very good in our room after I adjusted the color - it was way too red out of the box. Now, on-axis the picture looks great with really good contrast. Off-axis, perceived saturation and contrast drop off so I recommend this tv where you will be no more than 15 degrees off axis. One other feature I like is that the Roku remote is IR which allowed me to set up my Harmony One programmable remote to control my whole system.

I would have never taken a second look at this TCL TV if it were not for the sales associate. I had never even heard of the brand. It ended up being a better TV than the Samsung I had planned to buy at nearly the same price. The only problem is that I'm able to see My 1080p in the living room and this 4K in the bedroom and see the difference and now I'm ready for another!

I’ve had my P series TCL for about a year and a half now. I’ve been nothing but impressed from this sleeper Brand. Going forward, TCL is my front runner for TVs especially for the amazing quality at a budget price. The P series is most comparable to the now R or 6 series which are also amazing TVs for the price point. From Roku OS to the amazing contrast and Dolby Vision, I don’t believe you can go wrong with the top of the line TCLs

If you look for an amazing low cost TV don't look further. This TV has all of the features you look on a TV on 2017.
LED screen, 4K + HDR and Dolby Vision, 72 contrast dimming zones DTS surround sound 3 hdmi and 1 hdmi arc, optical out and the most importan thug Roku interface.
This tv is really what you spect on a smart tv. Roku will cover all your needs for online streaming entertainment.
Unfortunately the biggest size as of today is 55".
65" coming later this year.

I love the TV, but compared side by side to a Samsung or a Sony it is not going to stack up. However, in this price range it is the best picture quality and functionality. I spent a long time looking for a TV and when this one came up at a minor discount, I jumped on it. Dolby Vision and HDR work well. There aren't a ton of picture adjustment settings on the TV, but you can find more on the app. My only gripe is the black uniformity. Even with the local dimming activated it has splotches when it's showing greys.

Chose this TV after doing a ton of research. It’s one of the best values you can find in terms of features and price. You get an amazing picture, some future proofing, a great smart TV interface, and all for much less than other brands. Research for yourself and you’ll see this TV is the real deal.

I got my first TCL. The first one had to be returned due to it not powering on. The second one I'm on. Works as it should but the back-light bleed is really bad at night in a dark room. Tried to fix it but can't I don't want to return this one Too maybe TCL can comment and give me some help.
But for the price and the features you get HDR10 HDR12 Dolby Vision and ROKU its a great almost perfect T.V. It's ready for 4K and Xbox One X And PS4 Pro. Not sure how to use the HDMI 2.2 Ports as said on CNET Site

I read all the reviews on this and other TV's before my purchase. I was getting this mostly for my XBOX One X. It looks amazing. The only knock on this from reviews was for a narrow viewing angle. That doesn't bother me at all as it is mostly just me sitting right in the center.
Input lag is almost non-existent (tested at 15ms in game mode) . The HDR is really nice as well. There really isn't anything else this good for $600. Buy it.

I read lots of reviews before making my purchase. This Tv got rave reviews from CNet and multiple other site, and it did not disappoint. Features and picture are fabulous . Set up was quick and easy. I was an Apple TV user and found Roku to be very user friendly. My only negative is the sound quality, it’s actually pretty poor, but if you were planning on using a sound bar it won’t matter, it’s not bad enough to be a deal breaker.

We now have three of these Tv's in our home. The picture quality is exceptional. We also have very high quality Samsung tv's as well and this is the bang for the buck in comparison. If you want great picture quality for football games especially but don't want to spend the extra for Samsung, I recommend TCL.

After doing my research on HRD tech, I wanted to get an affordable 4K TV that had both HDR10 and DolbyVision. This one fit the bill. We’ve had it for almost 3 months now, and we are extremely happy with the purchase. The Roku TV package was an added surprise - we didn’t realize how much better it would make the overall experience but it does. A+

I nornally check a lot of informacion before a purchasing, more on a TV that I want not only to view programs etc but also for gaming. This TV excells in all, very easy to install and to use, the Netflix works very well with no problem. My only two complains are that the mute button is in a location that is very easily press when grabing the remote and second that when turn on the TV I always have to select the sourde.

At about 600 dollars you’ll be hard pressed to find another 4K HDTV with as many features as this TCL. The Roku TV interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, full HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. Full Array local dimming across all of its display modes including game mode. I would have liked to see 4 HDMI inputs and the built in speakers aren’t anything to write home about, but overall this performs as well as $1000+ display if it were a Sony or Samsung.

I have no regrets on making this purchase. I searched for months on end before purchasing this beauty!
This TV is excellent for your every day usage to playing video games, I have not experienced any lag time while gaming. The sound quality is mediocre so I would suggest connecting a sound system immediately upon purchase.

we bought this tv and we took it home to immediately install it. We tried everything we could and the tv just would not turn on. We promptly returned it to Bestbuy and they let us get a replacement. That one worked fine and has not given us any issues since. Picture quality is great for netflix 4k and video games. The built in roku is also amazing.

Overall been happy with this purchase. The resolution is excellent and the interface is really smooth with the built in roku software. We've only had the TV for ~2 months so can't speak to it's longevity. However I've had none of the line artifacts that others have mentioned. Overall I would recommend and this is my first experience with TCL and will definitely consider them again in the future.
