I bought my TCL 55" at Best Buy a few months ago and think it 's a great TV. I don't know the technical ins & outs. What I do know is the picture is super clear & detailed. I still have a lot to learn about the TV and all it has to offer. I couldn't be happier w/ my purchase and the excellent help I received at Best Buy.

I did ALOT of reading and comparing which HDR TVs are best for my XBOX X under $1k. This is IT. Its on rtings.com in its top 5 TVs for gaming that are budget sensible but still of awesome quality. You wont be sorry.

Ultra clear picture, easy set up, convenient casting of video from phone, used with cable TV, then shortly switched to streaming Roku with YouTube TV subscription for local channels. All good, and not missing cable TV or that bill. Streaming via Ethernet cable on a 150 Mbps connection, though 60 or 30 Mbps would be adequate.

We bought this TV nearly a year ago. We stream movies and watch 4K UHD discs on our XBox One X. We have a PS4 Pro and a switch, and we even had an HT-PC connected for a while. Colors are beautiful and the streaming is smooth. So glad I saved the money based on the recommendation of friends and the tech community online.

This 55" TV was purchased for our newly remodeled family room and it looks great! Perfect size and wonderful picture sharpness! It had been awhile since we updated our TV in that room so we were caught a bit off guard when we discovered RCA jacks are not an option for hookup. Make sure you have an HDMI cable on hand!

This was a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. Beautiful picture, full set of newest features (Roku, UHD, HDR, local dimming, etc.). Model doesn't include the voice remote, otherwise is TCL's best TV. Unbelievable price that doesn't sacrifice anything.

I researched for weeks. Site after site this TV kept showing up in there must buy lists. It is a unheard of brand but the 4k HDR for 599 is unbeatable. The picture is better than the 1000+ Samsung and Sony TV's. Buy this TV before the brand takes off!!!

This is just a great TV for the money. The input lag is very low, the picture compares favorably with TVs twice the price, HDR output is great, and the design, while not amazing, is attractive. My minor nitpicks are the speakers being pretty poor and the viewing angle isn't the greatest. But all and all, great TV for the money.

After looking at every 55” model, the TCL ended up as the best combination of features, picture, and value. Now that we’ve used it for a few weeks, we are very satisfied. Super picture, convenient and useful features. Would definitely buy again.

The screen is fantastic. I bought this to use as a 4k monitor and I'm finding that I find excuses to use the roku functionality in been work functions. Really nice screen. May need to pick up a second tv.

I’ll keep this simple: 1. Best value 4k HDR tv 2. Find articles on how to tweak display settings to get the most 3. Roku is great 4. Xbox One X looks phenomenal 5. Don’t let expectations of seeing high end Samsung and Sony effect your view when you see the TCL start up. Remember it’s not in the same ball park as a $1500-2k tv. 5. You will enjoy it

This is one of the highest rated 4K TVs. As I read all the reviews I was still a little put off by the price, how can a tv that’s compared to TVs costing 3 times as much truly be the good? I took a chance and I’m sure glad I did. Great picture and features only gripe is speakers, but I have sound bar anyway.

At $599, HDR, "120Hz", Roku, Contrast Color Zones, this is an awesome deal. Contrast is fantastic. Upgraded from a 720p Plasma and this is nice. CNET loves this TV too. Read reviews. This one is a winner.

I purchased this TV approx. 3 weeks back for the kid's play room. The room is 24x24 and well lit. Wanted something for the kids to use for gaming and watching Netflix. Have been very pleased with TV capabilities, picture quality is comparable to my $1000+ living room TV. Roku interface is easy to use. Family is very happy with the purchase.

I upgraded from an LG plasma TV. After thoroughly reading reviews and watching videos, I took a gamble on a company brand I never heard of before. Let me just say, TCL is worth every penny! The local dimming feature is amazing, colors are super vibrant and the Roku features are great. I was not disappointed at all!

The TCL 55P605 is a great 4k TV for the price, the picture quality is excellent in 4K and 1080 upscale. The sound isn't great but it's acceptable for the price you pay. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and I'd say that this TV isn't far away from the picture and HDR quality of my 55" KS8000 which cost twice as much.

Amazing HDR support for my PS4 Pro and Xbox One X! This TV replaced my Panasonic VT50 Plasma if that tells you anything!

I usually don't buy a tv under 500.00 because its really just not good against higher prices ones. I read reviews carefully and then decided it's a go. Oh my I'm very happy with this tv,its my first 4k and I'm a believer in this brand TCL ..

This is the best 4k tv on the market in this price range. If your primary use is gaming, this is the tv for you. The Roku operating system is the best smart tv system I've ever used - easy and fast.

Bought the hisense HDR (actually not true hdr come to find out). Wasn't happy with the tv at all. Poor picture quality. Researched the TCL and purchased that instead. Great picture quality and excellent sound for tv speakers. Pretty nice to have the built in roku too! Couldn't be happier for the money I paid. With the specs this tv is a steal of a deal!
