Was not sure about the brand as I am a Samsung fan but after reading other reviews I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Amazing picture and even looks really nice on the wall. Just as good as my Samsung that cost double.

This is the best available TV in its price range, simply stated. HDR and ARC support are huge. The only negative really is the remote has to pointed directly at the sensor and it can't be blocked. My soundbar is in the way and had to be moved.

OMG!!! This tv is known as a budget tv but WOW! Blown away! Originally wanted the TCL 55P607 model but this 55P605 is exactly the same tv but without the Roku remote with earphone jack! The quality is AMAZING!!!! So happy with this purchase!

I don't have another brand to put side by side and BB didn't have it on display. I think this is a great TV.The picture is great with HDR Blu-Ray great with most TV at 1080. Not so good with point 2 and 3 channels as the signal sent s---s

This TV had great reviews and I agree with them all. Great picture and easy to use apps. I had not heard of this brand before but after reading great reviews on C-net thought I would give it a try. Also the timing was good, my LG went out on a Thursday and this TV went on sale for $499 on Saturday.

This is my 2nd TCL TV and even ended up purchasing a 3rd one for my sister last year for xmas. Amazing picture quality, fantastic integration with the ROKU interface (which I love) and an amazing value for such a big 4k TV. Highly recommend.

This TV is so much better than my previous TV. The blacks are very black, and the bright areas are very bright. Great for watching movies, TV, and playing video games. I never notice any ghosting or lag when playing Xbox One or PS4 games.

After reading reviews on cnet, pc mag etc, found this tv, a best buy version with a slightly worse remote, in an email ad marked down to $499 and bought online immediately. Easy to use, built in roku works well, excellent picture due to the many local dimming zones and hdr10 and dolbyvision hdr.

I was looking for a 55" TV and looked at a lot of reviews and found this one to be one of the best. I've only had it a week or so but it was super easy to set-up and the picture is great. I watch a lot of sports and it's good for that so far.

Best tv you can get for the price, picture is amazing comparable to my lg sj8500. Remote isnt the most intricate but love the fact i can download it to my phone and use it that way plus added picture settings from downloaded remote

I bought this TV especifically for XBox One gaming. The image quality is excellent (4k, HDR, wide gamut) and the input lag is the shortest of ANY other TV (including OLEDs and other expensive TVs). Highly recommended if you don’t have a lot of money like me. If you’re rich go with an OLED.

My research paid off. Been checking out all the reviews on all the tcl tv's and ended up purchasing the tcl 55"p-series 605. More than pleased and it exceeded all my expectations. Awesome tv. Roku system is so easy to use and the tv's picture is amazing. Can't go wrong with this tcl.

This tv has amazing picture quality, and is easy to set up. I have not had enough time to check out all of the things that come with Roku, but looks like anything you can think of is available. On top of all this the price is great.

This TV has a terrific pic quality, and the built in roku is so easy to use. Only small drawback is that you have to scroll thru the channels vs being able to type in a channel number but that's not really a big deal for us.

I have owned this TV for about a year now, it has performed great. The black levels are not perfect but they are on par with all other LED TV's. I use the TV for gaming and the lag is not noticeable. I would definitely recommend this TV to friends. P.S. I paid about 550 for it on sale.

Great 55” 4K TV for under $800. Slim frame. Great picture once you get the settings correct. Only con: built in speakers are very mediocre but I have an external sound system. I bought this TV for the great picture quality

Not a bad TV. Good picture quality with good features. My unit was defective only 2 months old. TCL customer service was amazing. They refund me the entire money in just 4 days. I gave TCL another shot and bought a 6 Series. If you find this TV under $500, don't hesitate. Is a good TV.

Great TV. I like that Roku is built in and I didn't have to purchase a separate device. I would like numbers on the remote for when on local channels and I could just push a number in versus flipping up and down. But it is not that often I use local channels. TV picture is great, adjustments pretty easy, TV set up is easy.

So happy with this tv. Had several HD TVs over the years but this one is the most user friendly, easiest to setup, best apps. So pleased. No issues so far either, and going on 18 months after purchase. Would definitely buy again and strongly recommend TCL with Roku.

I purchased this tv because the Hisense I bought had issues. For the money you won't find a better 4k UHD HDR DV tv. The Roku platform is very easy to use and the tv provides an excellent picture. The only thing lacking is the sound. But that can be an issue with expensive tv's too.
