The screen and frame rate is fantastic. Not to mention the cheap price for a TV of this magnitude. Will definitely give TCL a look when the bedroom TV needs replacing.

Did tons of research prior to purchasing as I wanted quality but didn't want a high price tag. The Roku TV performance is terrific for the price! I do recommend getting a sound bar or surround sound to go with this TV as the sound quality is average from the TV itself.

The ability to have a quality, 4k, HDR, 55" TV for under $600 is amazing. With built in Roku interface. Setup could not be easier, plug in and follow the easy prompts. Sure, there are better options from Samsung or LG but those prices easily reach over $1200.

I ended up buying two of these, one for the office and another for the home, after using it a little while. I can easily read text from a distance on the high-pixel screen, which I couldn't do with 1080 screens.

This is the best TV money can buy in this range and even compete in the $1700 range. Great features which are easy to use. Fantastic picture and HDR is spot on. Anything other than this TV is wasting money.

This TV is better than I thought. Very easy to set up. Quality of picture is excellent. Had a Samsung 55” TV before, and this TCL is much better. We use our sound bar more often due to the volume not as great, but overall a good product. Enjoying it very much!

Overall, the colors and contrast of the display are exceptional, for the price. I would expect a picture that looks this good with the little lag presented from a console to be easily 3x the price. I love how fast the UI is for the TV. My only gripe though is the uniformity. I just can't stand it because with every single pan on everything I watch, I can see both vertical and horizontal lines that simply break any suspension of disbelief. That just breaks the TV experience, especially since any TV half the price would have way better uniformity, just not the contrast this one provides. I wish I just saved up more money for the Sony x900e because I just can't stand the bad uniformity. If you don't even know what uniformity is, then you probably won't care; otherwise, I'd suggest saving up for the Sony.

First off, the picture is beautiful. Even HD TV and movies are sharp, with brilliant colors, and 4K content is even better. The user interface is easy to use and works well with my Logitech universal remote.

Did a lot of research and reviewing before this purchase. For the price you really can’t beat this TV and all it’s features. I especially love the Roku builtin. Makes streaming a easy process. Only drawback is the remote is small with volume controls on the side.

Price is amazing for a 4K HDR picture. There is a little bit of banding on my TV on dark scenes, however for the price, It beats out the competition. The smart functions (Roku) are fast, and the TV looks and operate great.

I saw this TV on line and was surprised at the price. After doing a little research on the item I decided to make the purchase and give it a try. I was very happy with the result and enjoy laying in bed and viewing this TV every night. Well worth the price compared to the big guys in the business.

Was a toss up between this and the Vizio of similar cost. Glad I went with the TCL as the Roku built in is phenomenal. We have a Vizio in the bedroom and use the cast feature, but the Roku experience is souch more convenient and robust in terms of choices.

Look for the new 6 series Instead, I have had both and I can say the 6 series is a big upgrade for HDR and Dolby vision brightness. Excellent gaming tv either way, if you can get this on super sale I’d recommend for sure

Got this on sale for $500 and for the price, I couldn’t be happier. Watching 4K content on Amazon Prime/Netflix is a game changer. Beautiful picture. You will need a soundbar as the internal speakers aren’t very good, but that was to be expected TBH.

This TV is great! first, it's a smart tv which makes everything better. Second, it is easy to use. Very user-friendly! I love this tv. combined with an Xbox One, this setup is unmatched! Plus, it's 4k so 4k gaming is fun! Can't wait to see more 4k games and shows

I had originally bought the Sony X800E and returned it for this TV. The TCL has a better picture and was $200 less. I highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for a 4K - HDR TV for under $1000

In my opinion, it’s a great value TV. Is it top of the line? No, but it also costs a lot less than top of the line. For the money, I don’t think you can find a better TV. Also purchased the TCL 8 series.

After reading positive reviews for this 4K television we decided to try it out. At this price point you will not be disappointed. All around a great deal!

This is second tv. First one just stopped playing after a week. Was able to switch out for new one and so far so GREAT! Picture quality and Roku platform is outstanding. I really love this tv!!!

For the price, the low latency for HDR gaming is unparelleled. This TV has a lot of solid bang for your buck features. Dolby Vison at this price is a steal. The Roku software is nice. I've never used any Roku device, but I found the interface very intuitive.
