I bought this tv to replace a 55 inch Vizio I had for only about 2 years and then the picture went out. This TCL has a great clear pic and especially great for the price range. My Xbox one looks much clearer and colors popping as well.

This TCL blew me away, I am always a brand name person and it replaced my Sony Bravia 4k non HDR and it smokes it! Great for 4k games and 4kmovies.

Very happy with my new TCL television. Read all the positive reviews online, pulled the trigger and love it. Did have to do a bit of tweaking on the picture to customize for my space. Great to have this unit at this pricing!

I read lots of views about this TV. It is a very well made TV and the price is great. I hooked it up to my Xbox one and noticed how enhanced things got. Once I picked up the Scorpion, it showed up even better. Great TV and great price. Will be looking for another size.

For the money, you absolutely can’t get a better display. You need to spend about 3x as much to find a picture as good as this. Add to that the built in Roku features, which provides the single best television interface I’ve ever used through the Roku home screen, and this becomes the best tv for most people, and TheWirecutter.com agrees.

Searched through the reviews of 4K HDTV's. this was recommended on Rtings. Consumer Reports did not think that well of it though. Saw the display and tried to find something I did not like. But I liked it and still do. Rtings is right, best bang for your buck. Wish it had 4 HDMI ports though, it has 3 like many Samsung models.

I did a lot of research and tried a couple tvs before buying this one. Compared to Samsung and LG tvs I tried in this price range, the tcl p series TV was the best. This is why: - The display is great. If hdr, Dolby vision, and wide color gamet is not enough, the FALD is a great feature. The blacks look good and the colors are bright and vibrant. I also tried the TCL C series (from Costco).and the FALD makes a huge difference. - Upscaling of lower than 4k resolution works well. - Out of the different smart tv interfaces, I like roku the best. It is simple,fast, and regularly updated. Here are my cons: - Unsurprisingly, the built in audio is not great but that is every tv now. - If you want to use a sound bar, you will have to use an IR extender because they will all block the TV IR receiver. - Viewing angles could be a little better. - Reflection could be a little better. Overall, I am very pleased with the TV. Everything looks great and runs smoothly. My only concern is that I don't know how reliable TCL tvs are. Will it last 10 years or die after 1? I don't know. But at this price and all the great features included, I am willing to take the gamble.

4K Dolby vision at very little cost. Picture is great - I can’t imagine paying a ton for a TV knowing I can get a TV like this at this price point.

Love the tv. I never thought I'd ever buy a TCL but for the cost I tried it out. Simple, reliable and great pictur. Takes a little time to log into all your accounts but to save time download the app first once you've done the basic setup then use your phone to save time when filling in all your other apps account info.

Bought the TCL tv for my son Christmas gift and the picture is amazing. We hooked the Xbox one s and we are able to watch 4K movies. For the price of the tv, you can’t go wrong. I would recommend this budget tv to anyone who Would like to save money.

If you’re going to spend $2,000 or less on a TV do yourself a favor and get this one. Great picture quality, the HDR is fantastic, and the input lag is next to nothing. It uses the Roku interface which is the simplest, and best OS you can have in a Tv.

I heard great things about this tv. I gotta say it was worth it! For 600 dollars this tv does what high end tv do. Definitely recommend it.

I have been using this with my brand new Xbox one x and could not be happier with the performance. Colors look good out of the box and even better calibrated. HDR10 works perfectly with my Xbox One X. Input lag is 15ms and you won’t find lower than that in any other TV. Strongly recommend to anyone on the fence.

This TV is phenomenal! HDR picture quality is outstanding as well as upscaling cable tv picture as well. Gaming on it is smooth with 15ms input lag and last but not least, the black levels are on par with my LG OLED 55C6P! $599 is a steal!!!

I was making a video game room and did quite a bit of research before making the purchase. I must say this tv has exceeded my expectations. I’ve only played games on it but they look great in 4K and the response time is great for the size.

Bought this for my brother in law. I frequently visit him and watch movies on this set. The engine is fast, the picture is great, the features are outstanding at this price. Value cannot be beat. Only downside is slightly dim brightness.

This TV has three key features that are normally only available on much more expensive TVs: 1. High Dynamic Range (HDR) - sets brightness standards to make the picture better. 2. Wide Color Gamut (WCG) - along with HDR has a much wider color palette to improve the picture over non-HDR, non-WCG TVs. 3. Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) - puts LEDs behind the panel in zones to make it easier to brighten and darken portions of the panel - makes for a much better picture. It also has Roku TV built in which is far better than built in Video OSes for other manufacturers (Sony, Samsung, LG, Vizio). If you don't like Roku for some reason you can always add a separate box (Apple or Fire TV).This is a bargain over many TVs listing for twice the price. It also has very low response times if you are a gamer. All of the HDMI slots are full HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 compliant. If you are looking for a 55" TV in the less than $1,000 price point you won't be disappointed.

We are loving this TV. The picture is great, and we love the SMART functions. My husband also loves it for gaming. Can't beat the price for what we got.

I did my research from reddit to AVS forum and end up buying this tv.Its no brainer to either get this P series tv or oled if u have the money. reason to buy thus tv 1 cheap 2 hd10 and dolby combo 3 full 4k hdr 4 72 points dimming unlike Samsung edge dimming 5 Roku is fast and easy to navigate 6 best gaming pc input lag from Tvrating.com but gtx card and window 10 needs update to display full HDR.Its not this tv fault but needs firmware update on your pc . 7 Runs cool right now but maybe its freezing cold outside. 8 3 x hdmi 2.0 with hdmi 3 is ARC. 9 It can stream 4k unlike vizio which cannot with its M series. Cons :Sound is ok but who cares most of already have home theater and speaker can be purchased under 100 dollar. Recommendations : Get ps4 pro to enjoy the hdr 4k games coz pc hdr needs driver update which is still work in progress.
