Picked up my TCL P605 from Best Buy on 7/28/2017. The TV is packaged nicely and was light enough for both my wife and I to wall mount it using an existing mount that we had. I love the Roku interface on this TV. We also have a TCL S405 in our bedroom so the setup of this TV was a breeze. It really doesn't get much easier than this. Overall picture quality with this set is great. It has a great native contrast even when local dimming is not engaged. Colors are great and not overly saturated like some displays from other manufacturers that I've seen. I would recommend picking up HDMI 2.0a certified cables though as I did have some flashing and picture freezing from an XBOX ONE S and PS4 Pro using the existing cables I had. Once I changed the cables it's been fine. The local dimming can get a little aggressive with dimming highlights in particular scenes no matter which settings I had it on. Hopefully this can get fixed via a firmware update. TV is plenty bright enough for our viewing area, though it does reflect surroundings quite a bit so keep that in mind with placement. The off-angle viewing is not great, in-line with other LCD flat panels using VA panels. If you're coming from a plasma TV like I did, you'll notice this straight away. My biggest complaint with this TV is the gray uniformality and dirty screen effect. The corners of the TV and edges are darker than the rest of the picture. This is demonstrably noticeable on all scenes with medium grey to light colored scenes. Also when there's panning during certain scenes you notice some vertical banding. I don't know if this is inherent to all LCD panels but it is quite bothersome and no level of adjustment can fix it. Overall I'm pleased with the image quality for the price point. The Roku interface is great. I like having the 4K Showcase channel for when you want to watch 4K content. The YouTube channel DOES support 4K HDR 60fps and has some really great stuff to watch.

By far the best option I’ve found for diving into the world of HDR, and with Dolby Vision to boot. For the price it really can’t be beat. Built-in apps are passable- not as polished as their AppleTV counterparts (I.e. Netflix interface is in HD, not 4K), but I can generally overlook that because the content looks so nice.

I LOVED the user experience of this TV (RokuTV platform is amazing and the remote is awesome), however, the quality of the panel left a lot to be desired. HDR wasn't very impressive (not bright at all), blacks still looked gray to me and backlighting leaked in the corners and on the sides. You get what you pay for.

BEAUTIFUL TV....AWESOME PICTURE...THIS TV HAS MANY FEATURES THAT BIG NAME TVS HAVE....BUT THEY COST DOUBLE/SOME TRIPLE......BIG UPGRADE FROM THE OLD SAMSUNG 50" PLASMA....TV PICTURE LOOKED GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX....BUT AFTER CALIBRATING IT...AWESOME....PS4 GAMES LOOK AMAZING

We bought this TV because it had the built in Roku and to replace the lower model of the same TV to get UHD. The picture on this TV is so much better for only $200 more. Great menu selection and lots of channel apps.

This TV is an amazing value. You won't get a better picture, 4k, and True HDR, under a $1000. Rated best TV for the money by many websites.

Image quality is on-point, even with default settings. Looks SUPER good. For the price, especially considering similar features on other name brand sets cost 3x as much, you really can't get any better than this!

The reports of this tv ARE NOT hyperbole. Excellent quality & features. Was leary of an "off brand" tv but after research I decided on this model.....not disappointed.

This is by far the cheapest 4K TV, that will also display HDR with Wide Color Gamut for this price. Make sure that you enable the HDR settings on your Xbox one X, as well as the TV to actually display HRD.

I would recommend this tv to anyone looking to buy a new tv. It had a great picture and sound. The only confusing thing was the home menu at first to get it set up to go to cable right away but the gentlman at the store helped us with that. Great tv for the price and great quality. Would buy again!

This is easily the tv you should be looking at if you want 4K HDR & Dobly Vision without spending $1500. It's fast to boot up, the Roku software isn't garbage like most smart tvs, its updates haven't broken any features (yet), the input lag is extremely low in HDR modes which is a MUST for playing video games. I have tested this in 4K on the following devices: PlayStation 4 Pro (no issues) Xbox One S (no issues with 4K Blu-rays) Custom built PC on Windows 10 running a GTX 970 (works fine when you enable HDR but W10 still has a bug it turns HDR off randomly in its current version 1703) Really unless you want a Sony 4K HDR tv with better blacks, a OLED, or QLED this is the tv to own. Zero regrets. Only con is you can't see it in store and if you try to get the Amazon version it's out of stock for months. The remote is good on this version don't bother with the Amazon version and get the tv faster through Best Buy.

I wanted a TV that was larger than 50" that was affordable since I use it at bronco games only 8 times a year (or so). This TV is a smart TV that is large and affordable. So far, absolutely love this TV.

This television absolutely delivers! You have a 120hz game mode for all your console gaming, Dolby Vision and HDR which you would pay a significantly more if you bought a more expensive television! Everything looks great and sounds great but the room is small!

Could not be happier with this TCL. The HD picture is awesome and it was a breeze to set up. I would recommend this tv to anyone looking for a great entry level HD tv at an affordable price.

The price is right considering the quality of the picture and the built-in Roku. Everything is working seamlessly. I wasn't sure inititally, but I made the right choice. I'm loving my TV

This is the best TV you can get for its price. Whether you use it for gaming or watching movie, it will deliver quality pictures. I've been having a blast playing my ps4 games on this tv.

I bought this game because I had read that it had very little display lag. The picture is amazing, games in 4k look amazing, and the price is great. TV looks great as well, of course.

I was losing keep my for a TV that could allow me to take full advantage of the new 4K in the Apple TV. This TV allowed me to take advantage of the maximum offering in the Apple TV (Dolby Vision) without breaking the bank. Love this TV.

I bought this to replace a circa 2009 Panasonic G15 Plasma TV. It's bigger, lighter, runs way cooler and the Roku interface is great. Best bang for the buck on price vs performance.

This TCL Roku TV is compatible with both hdr10 and Dolby vision hdr, so you always get the best picture. For the price, this is a great TV.
