hello everyone. I upgraded from the TCL Q6, which was a good budget TV, to the TCL QM6K and the difference is immediately noticeable. The TCL QM6K has deeper blacks, brighter highlights, and smoother motion, making movies and sports look much better, and it has superior sound (you will not need extra audio). Paying the extra $250 felt worth it for the clear step up in overall picture quality. Thank you Thomas (Best Buy Specialist) for your all support and help me to take this decision... you rock.

My 14 year old Plasma TV finally died and I looked around for a new TV and found this TCL Q6 highly rated and on sale. I really didn't expect it to me anywhere near the quality it is. I have a amazon fire TV 4k Omni as well and this thing is way way better. The colors are super bright and vivid. I am really impressed with the AI and system its super fast and snappy. I haven't had any lag or issues in the week i've had it. The remote is pretty nice too again much better then the amazon fire TV version that remote is horrible!. I got this on sale for $300 and I honestly don't think you will find a better TV for that price range.

“I recently purchased the [TCL 55” and Q6 series QLED] from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! The picture quality is absolutely stunning—vivid colors, deep blacks, and incredible clarity that makes everything feel so lifelike. Watching movies feels like a theater experience, and gaming on this TV is an absolute joy with its smooth refresh rate and low latency.
The setup was quick and easy, thanks to the clear instructions provided, and the smart TV features are intuitive and responsive. Streaming apps load quickly, and navigating through menus is a breeze. Best Buy’s customer service was fantastic, helping me choose the right TV for my needs and answering all my questions.
This TV has truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch quality and performance. Thank you, Best Buy, for a seamless shopping experience!”

This is not an expert review and I lay no claim to such but want to give you an honest review. Bought the TCL Q6 55" after Christmas to upgrade our faithful Sony 46" TV. Picked it up in the local Best Buy and did the install myself. The box fit comfortably in the back of my Subaru Outback too. It's not too heavy but two people make the job a lot simpler - you don't want to drop the thing and I did watch the installation/unboxing video that Best Buy sent and I recommend you do likewise - don't want to crack the screen. I don't have an extremely large space for a TV so a 55" was as large as I could go. I have always bought premium brand TVs and my last two have been Sony. But my old Sony is still working 10 years on. That's not the purpose of this review, it really lay with the fact that this TV blows my old Sony out of the water. Certainly it wasn't 4K, but it was 1080p. I was looking to consolidate remote controls and make it easier for my wife as I have cable, Roku, DVD and AV theater all to contend with and none of them played nice with each other. Before you jump, a Logitech Harmony still didn't solve the remote problem. So let me get to it. I read reviews and watched YouTube reviews until I was in analysis paralysis and when I saw this budget TV rated higher than it's competitors and comparatively on margin with much more expensive brands it was time to pull the trigger. The reviews don't lie. It is a fantastic TV and I didn't realize what I was missing with my old 1080p TV. Still have to use two remotes for the time being, but at least now I have the option of a universal remote, may have to dust off the old Harmony. The TV has HDMI CEC which offers some control over HDMI connected devices such as on/off, volume, etc. using the TV remote and it works very well. There is a caveat - while the TV itself is easy to set up, if you are coming from Roku you have to set up all your apps again to the Google platform. It's a bit of a pain and time consuming. Altogether it took me about two hours to set up/update the TV and migrate all the apps, and I have several - as I said we mostly stream. Ran into one app that was a pain to migrate and that was Britbox - you have to go to the Play Store and download the app to your TV. If an app is not present in the app list you have to go to the Play Store and it is not explained anywhere in the installation guide. There are Youtube videos to show how to get apps from the Play Store by going through Settings on your TV so don't get too frustrated if you don't find things at first. Navigating the apps is pretty straightforward too, no real learning curve there. One other issue encountered was voice synch. Most channels were fine but Apple TV was terribly out of synch. There are about three or four different settings, PCM, Dolby, etc., but just stick with "Auto", once I switched to Auto no more synch problems. Speaking of sound, it is plenty loud enough through the onboard speakers, but not the quality I like, so I run it through an Onkyo AV receiver and Bose speakers, YMMV. The last thing is brightness. We use it in a room that is very well lit during the daytime and it is plenty bright and have to contend with reflections from windows which would affect even the brightest of TVs, but the wash out is fairly negligible. So if you read a review or questions about how many nits, it's plenty bright. We are really enjoying the experience so far and since it's only a week into ownership maybe not long enough to pass judgment but usually electronics work or they don't. We don't have any strange artifacts, lines or missing pixels. Oh by the way, we have found that the picture setting "movie" works best for general viewing. Not a gamer so can't shed any light on that, sorry. I don't regret this purchase in the least and do highly recommend this TV. If it changes I'll update the review.

While Im not using it as a tv, I use it as a large 55" pc monitor, it's amazing, the picture is perfect for my daily work. i did research a bunch of tv's that where Chroma 4.4.4 compatible to be use as a large monitor, this one does the job and it also did not cost me an arm and a leg, I did buting the subscription for a software ($34.99) that can create as many monitors you want within the large monitor you may choose to have. So basically, the 55" tv is in theory 1 large pc monitor for which I was able to split into 4 independent monitors.

I’ve been really impressed with the TCL Q6 55-inch TV. The picture quality is surprisingly good for the price — colors look bright and vibrant, and the 4K resolution makes everything sharp and clear. The smart features are easy to use, and it runs smoothly without any lag. Overall, it’s a great value and definitely worth considering if you want a solid TV without spending a fortune.

I replaced a Vizio M-Series that I bought probably 7+ years ago because I needed something that was bright enough to deal with all of the light in my new apartment - and maybe the price was phenomenal, too. I'm very pleased. This thing is bright, fast in all the right ways, and perfect for sports (I watch MMA and football) and gaming (Xbox - DayZ, Hell Let Loose, CoD), etc. I like that it switches the refresh rate (Hz) according to the input automatically. The way it recognizes my Xbox is pretty rad.
The only weird thing was the remote. It's exceptionally long - like a samurai sword.

This is my favorite TV so far for the size of my room, I was wanting a much larger TV but seeing this in person and bringing it home makes me glad I didn’t go any bigger.
The pixel density at about 6 to 7 feet away on the couch just looks absolutely crisp. The colors on my 4K movies are really nice and the Google TV feature is probably my favorite thing with these recent smart TVs. I have all my Google apps installed as well as some sideloaded apps.
If you have your modem nearby, I would recommend connecting an ethernet cable directly to the TV for high-quality streaming and fast app downloads.

It was quite amazing to get a OLED types TV at such a reasonable price. I have a samsung hdr tv and the picture quality on this one beats it hand down. In terms of smoothness and ease of google tv ecosystem, i am enjoying it very much after being on roku all this time. Felt it is more intuitive and shows you choices better than roku quickly. Audio is decent enough but for these TV’s you always need a soundbar to have 5.1+ experience, so no qualms there. Looking forward to enjoying this TV more
