Anything for a sale...

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to the store to purchase a Pioneer LED TV with Xumo built-in for compatibility with Spectrum TV. Salesperson steered me towards the TCL 55" Q6 QLED TV instead. I was told the Spectrum TV App would work via the Google play store. Turns out this is not true, Spectrum does not allow their app to be used on TCL TVs. The picture is indeed better than the Pioneer I had in mind, but the TV has a brain of its own and does not keep my settings as I have setup. Contrast, brightness and picture mode is always switching despite turning off all adaptive settings on menu, OS updates have been applied. The hassle of unmounting from the TV stand, repackaging and taking back to the store was not worth it and I just kept it

Constantly restarts especially if you change the channel quickly. Also there's a little square of faint faded pixels on the bottom left. No Eco controls for night time viewing. I would not recommend a TCL TV

TCL - A Great TV at a Very Good Price
