This is one of the best Mini LED TVs you can buy on a budget (I got the 98 in at 2.3k). The colors are vibrant, the black levels are great, but a couple of issues hold it back from getting 5 stars. First off, the sound is hot garbage. Like almost all TVs, you absolutely need a dedicated sound system if you're going to do it justice. The remote is great thanks to the backlight, but it's missing basic media controls like play/pause. Instead, 6 questionable app shortcuts take up the bottom half. The blooming levels on the 98 in are good for the most part, but the dimming zones absolutely breakdown in the corners, causing light bleed, but most users won't notice this in regular operation. I recieved a decent panel with minimal DSE, but since this is basically a lottery with any TV you get, your milage may vary. The biggest issue though is going to be the fact that 2025 is going to bring the new QM7 and even the QM6 series which are going to blow this out of the water in terms of performance or cost respectively.

This thing has been amazing. Much better on picture and sound than our previous 75" LG. The brightness difference is honestly unreal. Many shows were hard to see on our LG, but this thing makes it easy! It also has a much better OS configuration. It operates much faster from startup to app selection to actually playing shows. The home page "continue watching" that groups shows you've watched recently from several apps is a huge plus as well!

Had to wait 3 weeks for geek squad to install my T.V. once it arrived I thought I might have to get a 85in because of my sonos soundbar and system. But had them install it and wow picture looks great and sonos sound system paired together with the two is great.

AWESOME TV!!!!!! I have it in my game room, so movies and games look amazing on it!!! It is a bit heavy so make sure to have at least 3 people help you with it. I mounted it on my wall but would also look great on the stands it comes with.

Loved Size and picture was OK, but had to return TV....Instead, swapped for the upgraded M8 where I hope for no problem. This one had some weird defect from Day 1 where and audible hum was present and louder whenever the screen brightened. Consulted with Geek Squad Techs and they stated it's nothing fixable rather likely a defective internal fan. They Best Buy would have swapped the model but I took the opportunity to upgrade.

Wanted a large TV but was a little hesitant due to not knowing much about TCL. Very impressed, the TV looks amazing! The best experience with a new TV i've ever had. It's not just the size the image clarity, color, and brightness are all amazing. It blows away my old tv when it comes to HDR movies. The only negative I can give the tv is you can definitely see a bit of image stutter in long panning shots but everything else about it has been way beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend!

Replaced an 82" Samsung (QN82Q70RAFXZA) with this TV. So far, after about three weeks, I have absolutely no regrets. I've been a lifelong Samsung guy when it comes to TVs, and I was definitely a little reluctant going with a TCL (especially as our primary TV). But after A LOT of research and a leap of faith, I have to say - this TV has proven to be just the upgrade I was looking for. A great size with a terrific picture, and all without breaking the bank!

I got my TV within 24 hours, thanks Best Buy blue T-Shirt gave me recommendation, I trust them. TV looks great, picture and sound are excellent.

I got the 98" QM7 to replace my ultra short throe hisense px1-pro. It takes a bit a calibration once done it looks great. There is one issue and thats arc. It seems to have an issue passkng audio though arc. I had to connect sound bar to another tv and back into the TCL to fix this issue. Other than that the TV has been great. Delivery was good too

This TV exceeded our expectations. My husband and I visited Best Buy, initially looking for something smaller. There wasn’t a model of this TV on the floor that day, but the technician recommended it to us, comparing its specs and performance to a much more expensive Samsung. We read some reviews and took a leap, never knowing exactly what we were getting into. While waiting for the TV to arrive and moving into our new home, we visited Nebraska Furniture Mart, and wandered into the TV department to browse. We turned the corner and saw a TV so large with a profile and display so beautiful, it stood out from everything else. It was staggering to be honest. It took us a moment to find the label. To our shock, it was the very model and size TCL that we purchased from Best Buy! We were amazed. Since then it has arrived and the Geek Squad installed it. We couldn’t be happier with the purchase and Best Buy’s wonderful support and recommendation.

I was very hesitant to buy this brand. I have had 95% Sony, 5% Samsung for the last 30 years. I LOVE SONY. This is replacing an 85" 5-year-old Sony. I am impressed by the quality of this TV. Picture is outstanding, as good or better than my Sony had, great contrast. Colors and blacks aren't bleeding over. Built in sound bar is surprisingly good. Good HDMI port selection, one change I would make is not to have a 60HZ port, make it 120hz. Settings where good out of the box, a little tweaking and it's fabulous. I added some Sonos product's; you have to go into settings and "turn on" the ARC feature for it work. Took my several frustrating minutes until I read the provided material. Most TV don't come with as good of a paper instruction as TCL did, good job. This was good I got a 65" also for a gift. They love it. Best Buy delivered and mounted this for us, perfect job, best install experience I've ever had.

TCL QM7 is a great TV, has a super sharp picture easy to setup.

Most brightest tv color ever, 98inch is huge in my living room, and the google app is better than firestick

Recently replaced my projector with this tv in the movie room at our house. we have a LG oled in the living room and the black level on this tv are very impressive. i expected to have some light bleeding not being an oled but to my surprise there is 0 light bleed on the tv in black screens. also love that it supports 144hz as i have my gaming pc also hooked up to it and can run games at the high refresh rate. Great tv when its on sale of 3000. You wont be disappointed. It does have a built in subwoofer but i do not use the built in sound due to having it hooked up to a receiver, so cant give a good review of the sound quality.

I bought the 98" TCL TV a few months ago, and I'm absolutely blown away. The picture quality is stunning—sharp, vibrant, and incredibly immersive. It was easy to set up, and everything from streaming to gaming looks amazing on this massive screen. At first, I wondered if 98" would be too big. Nope—now, anything smaller just feels tiny. Watching movies feels like having a theater at home, and even everyday TV shows have a whole new level of detail and depth. If you're on the fence about size, trust me: go big. You'll never want to go back.

This TV exceeded my expectations, colors are bright and vibrant and blacks are ABSOLUTELY black, Sound is VERY good as well. You are not going to find a better tv in this price, especially if its on sale:)

Man I bought this on the Black Friday sale and it was a awesome discount. The quality of the tv is great with a perfect picture and footprint that gives a in home theater vibes big time...

Great tv love it. Awesome picture and color But the YouTube tv app lags which is my service we watch the most. Had to get a different streaming product(Apple TV) Every other app works great. Talked to tech and told me it is the app on the tv and the only thing I could do to fix it is to steam with an external ruko or Apple TV. You would think they would fix that issue for spend so much for the tv. Everything should run smooth on a new tv.

Best bang for buck available. Primary liability is direct light reflections can be somewhat distracting. Took care of that with a smart bulb. Colors pop and blacks are deep.
