In terms of color, brightness, and motion processing this tv is second to none. I have multiple OLEDs in my home and this set comes darn near that infinite contrast ratio. Highlights in HDR and in SDR really pop, colors are very vibrant and watching cooking shows nearly creates that uncanny feeling you’re actually there. The images almost appear in 3D due to the high contrast ratio. The other night we watched a slasher movie for Halloween and it felt just a little too close and too realistic in our living room. So we switched ti watching Maverick again…and wow, what a visual treat when you see fighter jets zooming by. Everything seems just so lifelike. Also, i have the tv places in my living room with plenty of ambient light coming in. Tye maximum brightness I recommend is 90 at vivid and you will literally need eye protection, as it gets incredibly bright. A couple drawbacks: gaming on this thing is meh. Also, sometimes tye software glitches and i have to readjust tye settings. However, oversall this is a superior bisual experience.

Not ready for prime time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TCL - 98" Class QM9K has been nothing but trouble since it was delivered last week. The TV would shut off after 60 minutes of watching and needed to be unplugged and then plugged back in to stop the Blue screen below. Now it just shuts off at random intervals. (All power savings and timeouts are off) I wanted to use it to watch YouTube, and all I get is the pink screen below. It is hard to believe the specs are worth if the the TV does not function.

LG G4 or G5. Get it now. I am 81 and have ONLY ever had the best TV’s Sony, LG. This makes OLED look inferior! This TV is way past addictive. You will never leave it!’ The only problem is BestBuy - they are a NIGHTMARE!!!

The image quality is absolutely stunning, and so far, everything has been working perfectly. The smart features are a huge plus—the built-in apps are all incredibly responsive, Gemini support is genuinely helpful, and the presence detection is a really nice touch. The display is so beautiful that my wife often gets caught just viewing our family photos on it! We've had zero issues with this TV since day one. The only thing that could possibly make it better would be an anti-reflective display, but I understand that might trade off with the incredible viewing quality. It's a very minor point for an otherwise perfect TV. Highly recommended!

It is bright and has little noticeable bloom due to the enormous number of dimming zones. Side-angle views are near OLED performance. Adjust the settings to match your viewing style and room layout. TCL QM9K checks all the boxes

This TV really gave me the WOW factor that i believe as a buyer we really look for when making a purchase.

Good value

If you want mat picture quality over size at this price go OLED. I had them side by side and the OLED quality is king and the contrast was stark! If they weren’t side by side this TV would be awesome. Sound is the best of any TV I have ever heard.
