I bought this sound bar for just a little better sound output out of my 55” TCL TV. Well this was a big surprise once I received and set it up. Setup was simple as it did most of the setup for me since it was a TCL sound bar/TV it integrated itself. Only thing I had to do is literally take it out of box, plug in power cord and connect to HDMI ARC and it did the rest for me. Once I heard the sound that came from it I was impressed. No there’s nothing fancy about it and it only has 3 preset EQ settings. The “movie” setting has the most amount of bass and it’s sound quality is great. For the low price this is way more than I expected and is comparable to some of the high end models.

Looks nice, subwoofer works well nice bass during a movie. Only issue is now you have a separate remote for volume

Easily hooked up to my new Insignia TV. It has wonderful sound for a small bedroom. The bass is great and the subwoofer rocks. Don't need to turn it up to get the best effect. My TV easily connected to it and using the HDMI cable the sound is clear and crisp. Woofer connects easily using Bluetooth. Place it anywhere in the room for ideal sound. Love this budget soundbar

Great sound bar for the price. Sounds great for movies and love the Bluetooth to listen to music from my phone or ipod. I do wish it had more adjustments for the sound but still a great buy.

Well, what can you expect from a sub $100 sound bar? Personally, I expected a little more. The sound is obviously the most important factor and I must say that it isn’t great; it’s very dark, almost muddy. It could use substantially more treble. Other than the sound issues, the wireless subwoofer likes to unpair every now and then. It’s an easy fix, a simple unplugging and plugging it back in fixes it, but it’s still annoying. Overall I would not recommend this sound bar. Maybe if they update it to have more treble (I’m not even sure if updates are possible on this model) I’ll change my mind.

Purchased March 28, 2021, waited to review on April 25. I would have given a Five Star for Sound quality based on Price. For $99 , It was a Great Value, Good sound, easy to hook up using a HDMI to my Audio Return Channel (ARC) input on my TCL 65S435 TV, all controlled by the TV Remote. However ! . . . since the second day, it has had random problems with the Subwoofer connecting through Bluetooth with the Sound Bar. Typically , I just unplug the subwoofer and it reconnects, but occasionally that doesn't work , , , I try various things, like rebooting the Sound Bar, unplugging it, moving the Subwoofer, Resetting the Subwoofer I contacted TCL Support and received various suggestions, none that changed the problem of the Subwoofer randomly not communicating with the Bluetooth from the Soundbar, when turning on. I live about 60 miles from Best Buy, and had considered returning it, but felt that the odds were great of another unit doing the same thing. As of this review, my Return Window has expired, anyway. Crazy as it sounds . . . I'm considering adding a Remote Controlled Power Switch to the Subwoofer power line, so that I don't have to get back up to unplug and replug when it happens, since that often solves the problem. . . .this isn't laziness, but my 70 year back and knees don't appreciate having to crouch to unplug.

Bought a Roku TV and decided to try out an inexpensive sound bar to accompany it. This unit did the trick and fit perfectly under the television. The subwoofer is wireless, so no setup except plugging in.
