I was blown away by the sound quality that this combination Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer delivers! Set-up was straight forward and it perfectly interfaces with our TCL flat screen TV! Awesome sound for a reasonable price!

This sound bar pairs nice with the TCL TV I purchased. Set up was very simple and the sound bar automatically recognized which sound mode/quality to use. This sound bar does perform Dolby Atmos. Sounds is pretty good. Subwoofer really completes the sound range. The very low end frequencies are lacking but overall still has really good bass. I would buy it again, especially for the price. I use it for listening to music, movies, and games. All sound pretty good!

Very nice product. Easy to set up. The sound quality is amazing when its working properly. Yes, I said when its working properly. That’s because the sound bar frequently disconnects from the subwoofer. Then sound qualifies becomes distorted.

Took minutes to install. We recently bought a 75” TCL Roku TV for our family room. The room is good size, with very high ceiling. The sound from the tv speaker was inadequate. I originally purchased an LG sound bar, spent several hours changing settings on the TV, my dish network hopper, blah blah, chatted with the geek squad, troubleshooting online. Finally got it to work, the next day it once again had no sound, I returned it to BB and bought this TCL instead…..I menttion this to emphasis how easy this TCL sound bar was to install. Hooked it up the TV immediately recognized it and it worked. The sub woofer paired just as easily. I am hearing impaired and need a headset to watch TV, wanted to be able to use the sound bar and headset simultaneously, I purchase an Aventree Opera headset from that big online seller, it has a pass through function, so once the sound bar was connected and I confirmed that it worked, I installed the headset, to use the pass through technology, the tv is connected to the headset base using an optic cable, the sound bar is now connected to the headset’s optic out. I have use of both the sound bar amd headset simultaneously. My family is very happy with the sound quality of the sound bar. I can’t offer an opinion on the nuances of the quality as I can’t hear the ambient sound. But for my needs, this set up is perfect. I would buy it again.

Great Atmos Bar! Not so great SUB. Like most bars this delivers in terms of audio quality, however, this is what really needs improvement. There is NO way to adjust the crossover frequency on any of the preset modes ( Movie, TV, Music, and Night ) Ok there is a Plus and Minus as far as Volume of the Sub, that's fine. But without a way to dial in the subs range it's simply becomes a a boomy mess. It has zero focus! I'm not expecting a grand performance from a sub $250 bar, but the SUB is simply far to loose to perform with any sense of control. It's ON or Off, there is no way to get the bass tight on these subs. I expect most are like this in this bracket, but I do Pro AV for a living and the Klipsch 400 series ( While Not Atmos ) is a far and away better SUB! even with out a crossover setting. I tried damping the TCL sub by filling the bass reflex port, but it helps just a bit. But still no great improvement. Now, if the App/Remote had a way to set pre-defined crossover points, That would be a massive improvement. I do understand cost and value. This has Value in spades over similarly priced Atmos bars with up firing speakers. It just might be the BEST bar you can get in the bracket with ATMOS. I am having a hard time getting past the booming SUB, Moreover, If you use the bar without the sub, there is ZERO bass from the bar itself. So that's telling me that the bar's internal circuitry has it's Low Pass Freq's turn completely off sending the full range to the SUB. Sounds like it's internally set at about 100Hz? and above to the sub. The bar itself sounds as if it's set to about 250Hz/500Hz. It's getting nothing below that. Given the size of the speaker that's fine, but again, without any type of adjustment, it becomes unbearable to me over time. Having said all that, the bar itself is very good with Atmos. Not the best, but certainly not the worst as far as sound bar goes. Packaging was really nice, and the I really like the black cloth. It's made pretty darn well for the money! I've thought about getting a different SUB with it's own internal network but that might not be able to connect Via Bluetooth, but that's a gamble as it may not "see" the bar. So, I'm on the fence to return and find another. Which I hate doing because I do like the bar. So I think the search continues....

This soundbar is really great! The sound is amazing and the bass from the Bluetooth subwoofer is great, it can compete with the Bose 300 subwoofer. Overall sound quality is really excellent, with the Dolby Atmos, the value for money is really great.

Bought this sound bar while TV shopping. It was on sale and my old sound bar was quite a few years old. I was not expecting the quality of sound that this sound bar puts out. The sound is great and it blows away my old Sony sound bar. On sale it sounds great, at full price it is decent.

Works seamlessly with TCL TVs, can use the Roku remote for all function. Sound has been great. Relaible for a year now. Slow to change volume with TCL Roku remote but not an issue if using sound bar remote.

I got this on sale and I can’t recommend it enough. The wuality is great. The dolby sound paired with the dolby vision creates an experience like no other. Its alot of bang for your buck!

The TCL Alto 8+ soundbar/wireless subwoofer combo sound great for a value priced home entertainment sound system. The subwoofer provides a nice bass punch for music or action movies. The soundbar itself sounds good & provides nice staging for the TV. I've never watched anything where Dolby Atmos seemed to add anything to the movie, so YMMV on that front. Installation was as easy as plugging it in to the eARC HDMI port on the TV & hitting the pairing button on the subwoofer. My subwoofer is only 5 feet from the soundbar, so the connection is strong & pairing was immediate. I mainly watch TV with earbuds, so a more expensive setup is unnecessary. The TCL Alto 8+ fits the bill for when I don't want to wear earbuds & looks nice under my TV.

This is a great sounding system. I highly recommend it. I don't think you can beat the quality for the price.

Setup super simple indeed. Awesome SOUND quality I Love it lot's except I just found out I paid too much I purchased it on the 1st of this month for $200 plus tax now it's on sale $50 cheaper !¡!

This sound bar is great when paired up to the tv. I will say that it has its quirks. Sometimes it will lock up or go in and out though. I’m not sure why it does it. It will just lose its signal. When it is on it has some really great sound and you will not be disappointed

This Sunday has to be one of the best deals out there when on sale. The Atmos isn't great but it provides great room filling sound including good bass from the sub. The sub cuts in and out at low volume but probably should just be turned down during low volume anyway. Overall I really like this sound bar for the money. It integrated effortlessly with the TV and having a wireless subwoofer is pretty convenient too.

The truth is that I liked the sound of this bar since before this one I would have tried Sony and LG and I would not have tried this bar and the truth is that I liked it both for the price and for its performance it does not detract from the same as the previous ones and that its subwoofer is larger than this the truth if I recommend it so much for watching movies and television

Sounds great and set up was easy. I have it connected to a TCL tv via ARC. The bass is loud and sound bar is clear. Would recommend.
