I woyld love to tell you how these are but I haven't received them yet. I ordered them on October 6th with a delivery date of the 10th. On the 10th I checked the status and they were at the loxal FedEx distribution center but it stated they were delayed. After 6 day I called FedEx to get an update and was told the package could not be delivered and was sent back to the shipper. So I called BestBuy support and they sent a replacement, the say before the delivery date, the same thing happened. I requested a package investigation. Got a call from FedEx the next morning and was told the package was turned over to FedEx security. Perplexed, I called FedEx security and was told the shippers FedEx account is invalid and they couldn’t tell me more than that. I called BestBuy support twice more to get resolution to this ridiculous situation, and both representatives I spoke with couldn't understand what I was telling them. This has been an abject failure at every level.

Technics has done it again. These in ear headphones are amazing.

These are the successors to the AZ80 basically. And they improve on them quite a lot in my opinion. Features: Adaptive ANC Three device multi point connection LDAC codec support 10 hours of battery life with ANC on (using AAC) 4 sets of ear tips Charging case Custom EQ in the app I have use plenty of true wireless earbuds over the past few years and these sound amazing probably the best in the price range. The ANC is solid but I wouldn’t say the best ANC out there but very solid. In terms of Sound Quality I find these to have very good detail in the sound stage and has very punchy bass if you want it through the EQ settings. It doesn’t have the blow out your ear drums but it’s very good bass. The stand out feature is the three device Multi point connection and I connected it to my iPhone 15 pro , MacBook Pro and my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. You do lose LDAC support if you use three devices but it works with one or two devices. The feature works great no issues here with it. Tho personally I find it jarring but it’s there for those who want it.

Product I'm still hoping is good... The first order never arrived and was supposedly was lost in the mail. 2nd order was destroyed in the mail... And I'm waiting to see if the 3rd order will ever arrive...

Returned item. Could not find a tip that fit properly.

After using it for 3 months, statics and humming sounds started happening. There was no fix to this.

Most folks younger than 40 have probably never heard of Technics. The last Technics product I had was a portable CD player back in the early 80’s. The buds come smartly packaged in all recyclable cardboard and paper and include five sizes of ear tips and USB-A to USB-C charging cord along with an instruction manual that you need a microscope to read and the various warranty papers. Fit and finish - the mostly plastic case is fitted with a nice aluminum outer shell which looks great and feels nice to the touch. The buds have a metal outer cap over the plastic housing. At 53 grams total, they are the lightest of my buds so far with my Motif IIA’s at 58 and AirPod pro 2’s at 62. I get that the goal is to make the lightest product but in so doing, the case feels just a bit flimsy for the cost to me. Another thing to note here is the left bud has a small bump on it. At first I thought this might be a manufacturing issue but then realized (or thought) like contact lens cases, this is to differentiate left from right without having to look for symbols. A nice touch. Connections - pairing the buds to my devices was as expected and the multipoint connectivity to three devices worked perfectly - allowing me to connect to my phone, tablet and windows laptop all at the same time. Switching between them was effortless. The AZ100’s also support quick pair for those with Android devices. This also worked as expected. My only issue (and I don't know if it was from the buds or computer) was losing all sound during a Teams call when I came off of mute. The Technics Audio app - works fine in both IOS and Android. The app provides a wealth of settings and options allowing you to adjust the EQ, noise cancelling/passthrough levels, touch controls and spatial audio among other options. Battery life is rated for 10 hours with ANC on and 28 hours with the case. A 15 minute charge will get you 90 minutes of playback. I was able to get through a full work day with adaptive noise reduction on. Of course your mileage will vary. I like that these have QI charging along with USB-C. I forgot and left the buds out of the case overnight and 24 hours later they still had a 35% charge. Sound - just wow! I thought my AirPods had great sound but I have to give it to these buds. The clarity across the board is incredible. You hear every instrument clean and clear. No muddied mess with these. And to really make it your own, along with the six equalizer presets you have an eight band equalizer and three additional custom presets. My favorite is the Dynamic preset which amps up the bass and treble for a full rich sound. The AZ100’s really have the cleanest sound of any of my wireless earbuds. Spatial Audio - Optimized for Dolby Atmos. The AZ100’s have Spatial Audio to help make your ears explode. Turning it on expands the sound, making it much more immersive and full bodied. You also have the option of Dolby Head Tracking. For me the jury is still out on this. I experienced it for the first time with my AirPod Pro’s and think it's a neat trick but still more gimmick than useful but hey, it's an option. Noise Cancelling - with multiple adjustment options, the noise cancelling on the AZ100’s is some of the best I’ve experienced. On the train it blocks out most everything. At home it blocks out my wife but sadly, not the tv. I like the ambient or passthrough options which also have personal adjustments. On phone calls, you can enable Voice Focus AI which does a great job at reducing background noise however it also makes your voice sound really processed and mechanical. Not something i see myself using often but it's nice to know it's there if you need it. Fit and comfort - I am able to wear these all day with no discomfort. With five sizes of tips you are sure to find one that fits. The stemless design does make me look a little like Frankenstein with bolts in my head though. The Technics AZ100 wireless earbuds check off a few firsts in my bud lineup. First to have liquid dampening in the drivers, the first to have the ability to connect to more than 2 devices at the same time - they connect to three; and the first to have a frequency response of 20Hz - 40kHz. For those who have never heard of Technics, or since forgot about them, now is the time to get reacquainted! Yes, I recommend the AZ-100’s to anyone looking for reference quality sound with excellent noise cancelling and some of the best transparency/hear through I’ve heard in earbuds.

Technics has been a mainstay in the audio world. I've got several Technics going back decades to my first set of earphones. The EAH-Z100 are my first of their earbud line and I am not disappointed. I work in an open concept high noise office environment with many simultaneous conversations around me. The noise cancelling capability really is amazing. Using the smartphone app you can dial in how much noise you want to come through in both the ambient and noise cancelling modes. I have several other brand earbuds and none have this capability. I also live the implementation of AI for microphone noise suppression when making phone calls. I had previously had to relocated to a conference room or huddle room to make calls but with the EAH-Z100s I no longer need to leave my desk when making or receiving calls. This is a huge feature for me! Music listening brings this to a new level. The Technics Audio app allows for fine tuning the experience. They even have a Dolby Atmos special mode to open up the soundstage and listening pleasure. There are a few preset equalizer setting with capability to add 3 more custom setting of your own. Pump up the bass or treble or focus on vocals or custom set your Metallica or Pineapple Thief. Plenty of customization. The earbuds themselves have touch controls. Like most earbuds they come with a compact charging case that will allow you to recharge your earbuds on the go. I haven't yet determined battery life because for my use they tend to last most of the day without recharging. But with noise cancelling activated they are supposed to get 10 hours of listening time and 12 while in ambient mode. When I have to disconnect I toss them in the charging case to top off the battery and I'll connect them to a charging cable or my compatible wireless charger base. I've got an aftermarket wireless charging base and the case charges with no issue. In the box the the EAH-Z100s comes with 5 pair of silicone ear tips making it easy to find the right fit. The app even has the ability to help you select the right tips. The buds also come with a USB-C charging cable but no charger. These are now my new daily use earbuds, beating out others that are priced higher.

The Technics EAH-AZ100 earbuds sound great and have many features, the best for me being the multi-point connections and the superior noise cancellation. The battery life has been great - 10 hours with active noise cancellation turned on, and 12 hours with it turned off. I’ve become so used to having noise cancelling on throughout the day, that I couldn’t go without it. 10 hours is more than enough to use these all day long. The controls are easy to use and become second nature after just a bit of time. The sound is great, but I did find it too flat out of the box. In the app, you can use the equalizer to get the sound you like - or for the type of content you are listening to. For example, the Voice setting is perfect for podcasts. Once tuned in, the sound Is really great - excellent bass response in such a small device is truly incredible. You can use the multi-point feature to connect to three devices at the same time. This is great for me as I’m at a computer with my phone nearby and on calls throughout the day. Then, at the end of the day, I can use the earbuds between my tablet and phone. The noice cancellation is excellent, better than another pair of earbuds I have that are in this same class. It can be a set level, or adaptive. The adaptive works great. I was using these on a flight and they were excellent at tuning out the airplane noise. Another great feature is the transparency or ambient mode. Some earbuds have that “plugged ear” feeling when allowing sound in, these do not - it feels very natural. One small thing, but I really like the silver color. With so many earbuds being black or white, these stand out. The case is a good size (not too big, not too small) which allows for a nice charge between uses. Also, with usb type c and wireless charging, it fits perfectly with my other devices. With great sound, many features, and the multi-point and great noise cancellation, these should be at the top of your list when looking for earbuds.

The Technics - Reference Class AZ100 True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones are the best earbuds I have ever owned. The sound quality is impressive out of the box. However, you can select several preset equalizations as well as create your own using the Technics Audio Connect App. The Audio Connect App also has several other aspects that you can configure as well, such as connection mode, number of multi-point connections, noise cancelling, ambient sound, and voice focus AI technology. The Voice Focus AI in these earbuds is quite impressive. Using the three built-in microphones, the AI technology locks on to your voice and cancels out the surrounding sounds so that your voice is clear on telephone calls or network-based meetings (like Zoom, Teams, etc.). These earbuds use the latest Bluetooth connection technology, so they find and automatically connect to your device if it supports the technology. If you lose an earbud, there is a find headphones capability. The case is very sturdy and allows charging via a USB-C connection. The headphones have a voice prompt, so you always know what is going on with them. The size of the earbuds is a bit larger than my other earbuds, but they do fit well and secure in my ears. I use them when I work out, and they stay in place. There are several sizes of tips included so that you can get the fit that is best for your ears. I highly recommend them.

I am sure they sound great, but I wouldn't know. It's been 31 days, and they're still sitting at FedEx in Indy.

I cant review cause my last order got lost by fed ex. I am being deployed to the middle east and these would have came in nice and handy.

These headphones are quite impressive! They're sleek and the small form factor makes them easy to bring along anywhere. The sound quality is top-tier as well. With the Dolby Atmos technology, music sounds clear and colorful. The noise canceling helps this even more so in real-world settings like the bus or the gym. I have zero issues blocking everything out and jamming to my favorite tunes. Even phone calls are clear and I've had zero issues with people hearing/understanding me. It is important to note that you will have to download the Technics app to fully utilize these headphones. Wasn't an issue for me, but def worth noting.  I'm not normally a fan of in-ear headphones with the rubber cushion because of fatigue, but these have been the comfiest I've worn by far. On top of the cushions they come with, there are an additional 4 sizes in the box so chances are you'll find a size that best fits for optimal comfort. As for operating time, these headphones last for the advertised time. I love it! These are perfect for long days on whatever device you may have or a VERY long flight. Overall, great sound, great noise canceling, and amazing battery life. I would definitely recommend these if you're on the market for some new headphones that can do it all! 

This wireless ear buds system from Technics which is a sub brand of Panasonic is fairly remarkable with it's above average sound and ease of setup. I have it paired with my iPhone which was one of the easiest I've used. It hold a solid connection to my iPhone and the built in noise cancelling is truly second to none and providing me a great sound with minimal distractions from outside world when I am out and about. ?The app makes it very easy to customize your sound and is not overly intrusive. Using the charging case I've been able to make it more thana day of darn near constant usage. They are light weight and fit rather nicely in my ears and have not fallen out once since I started using them. Multiple sized buds are included to help you find the best fir for your ears. As a n on-critical bonus they are rather stylish which means they are perfect in the work/office environment where i can listen to my music without looking like some idiot at work. If it's cold and you are wearing sas cap you pull the cap over you ears and none can tell you are using them. O verall I really, really like these ear pods.

These headphones feel amazing! Comes with adjustable earpieces for any size ear. Once the correct fit is installed, the comfort is very pleasant, allowing me to have the headphones in my ears for a very long time. The companion app allows for sound setting adjustments, like noise canceling, ambient listening, equilibrium presets, etc. It even has a find my headphones feature as long as Bluetooth is on and it has connected to the device beforehand. I find this feature a little flawed because if I have not connected to my headphones in a couple days and I can't find it, I can't use the find my headphones feature effectively. I would rather have had the option to Bluetooth the case to my phone and have it always connected. Sound quality is really good. With the correct fit, it creates an effective bass sound and noise canceling immersive experience. I really enjoy the sleek design metallic appearance, but I immediately put a case on it because I was afraid it would scratch so easily. Battery life is quite impressive as well. Can take a few hours of continuous use to completely die and it charges fast.

I've had them for almost 2 weeks now. Break in period is almost done, and they sound amazing! I've listened to different genre music, watch movies, news to test dialog clarity, multiple phone calls, and noise cancelling. I found no fault with any of them. 3 multi point connection is what I didn't know I needed until I started using it. One thing I appreciate it I can wear them loosely for added comfort and forget they were on. If I wanted the noise cancelling at fuller effect, I can readjust the buds for a tighter fit but not compromise comfort. Been wearing them on a regular basis and only had to charge twice thus far. And oh the app is good too! I have my sound at Dynamic so it can automatically adjust to any media consumed.

This is my first pair of Technics earbuds. I had family a long ways back that had Technics speakers and vaguely remember how great they sounded. So I have been enjoying getting to know the AZ100s. I'll start by saying the sound that comes from these little buds is so good. They have a complete range of sound that casts a soundstage I didn't expect. These have a built-in spatial sound feature that gives you the option if you want, but I found music to bounce virtually around my head without it on. It does give you some surround feeling with video content, but I've been mainly using these for music amd they just sing. Another aspect I really appreciate is that these can have fast connection to three devices. Most buds that have fast switch can do two, but these can jump from my android phone to my ipad to my mac without needing to mess with bluetooth pairing every time. Active noise cancelation is not a strong feature for these in my opinion. They do bring down outside noise, but it's not as good as some other options. I think they are most weak in the mid frequencies and while I haven't traveled with these yet, I feel like that weak point is where jet engine noise would be. Transparency mode is actually pretty good though. Better than most others in my experience. It didnt have that stuffy feeling to me and sounds were clear through the mics. Also I would these are pretty good for calls, not natural but close. The touch controls are pretty customizable, and I am able to set them up to control volume and sound mode, along with play and voice assistant. The companion app is one of the best I've used. It gives you so many options and the equalizer is truly customizable. For me, the biggest ding on the AZ100s is that for my ears they don't sit right. After much adjusting I still experience discomfort in my ears and can't wear these for very long. It's a shame because they sound so good! This is totally subjective though, so I do recommend trying these out because they just handle music so well.

These Technics wireless earbuds sound really good! I have several different brands and types of similar earbuds. My first impression was that the storage case is streamlined and compact, which I like a lot. A few months ago I got another brand, and the storage case is so large. These I can slip into my pocket or purse and it’s not bulky. I got the silver, and the color is nice. There are five different earbud tip sizes to choose from. The medium ear tips are already installed on the earbuds. The packaging for this earbud set is lovely. I believe that it is plastic free, it’s quite origami-like. Included in this package is a USB-C to USB-C cord for charging. There is a Technics Audio Connect app, which is where you can control the earbuds. Find the earbuds, noise cancellation, the whole deal is in the app. I like to play around with the sound on my earbuds, so I rely on the app to make adjustments. These earbuds are easy to use one at a time, which is something I kind of favor because I like to hear what’s going on around me. I also like that one earbud is charging while I’m using the other, so that keeps everything working. Although the battery life on these is excellent. They are supposed to get 10 hours of use, plus the charge from the case and the alternating earbud trick will add to your usage hours. The Earbuds are a bit on the small side. I read that previous versions of this earbud were a bit larger. I have no complaints about the size. They don’t stick out of my ear that far, which I like, because when I’m wearing earbuds to work out, I often change something when I raise my arm and hold it next to my head, or something like that. That doesn’t happen as much with these. The sound with these Technics earbuds is amazing, actually. When you remove them from the case and insert them into your ears, you will hear a melodic instrumental sound and a voice that lets you know that they are connected to something. There are several sound enhancement options to choose from, including three custom buttons. I have listened to music, podcasts and YouTube with these, and it all just sounds really good. I’ve been using these earbuds for just over a week, and have had an excellent experience.
