This movie is kind of a mixed bag. On one hand, seeing the turtles work together is really entertaining. On the other hand, it doesn't happen often.

I enjoyed the movie. I brought my 3 year old and he really enjoyed it too. I didn't mind the design of the turtles, splinter and shredder...They got the turtles and splinter characters right. they kinda screwed up shredder. he didn't really feel like the character we all know...His motivation for going after the turtles doesn't make sense...it feels like he is just there to be the bad guy...he just felt like a hollow villain...he had no personality whatsoever...overall tho...action is great, humor is great...I recommend this movie...

The steelbook packaging was the selling point for me... wasn't too crazy about this reboot before viewing it, but it's actually pretty decent. If you're a fan of the Ninja Turtles (or grew up with the characters like I did), you just might be able to find enjoyment in this. I wouldn't call it a great film, but for what it is, it's fun. It's got style, spectacle and plenty of laughs. It's the Ninja Turtles for a modern age. Definitely has some underwhelming narrative aspects, but it's a step in the right direction for the franchise.

I have been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since I was a child and to see them back in action (with mask included) was totally awesome for my husband and I. We wore them and were in total "ninja" mode (lol). Nonetheless, I can't wait for the sequel bc Shredder ALWAYS returns and the ninja turtles ALWAYS come out on TOP!!!!!! #truefanforlyfe

This film has come under a lot of scrutiny, mainly for diverging from the original content and also having the stigma of Michael Bay's name attached. Believe me, these are reasons I had a problem going into this film. However, I found myself charmed by this movie. I really enjoyed these characterizations of the turtles and Splinter. Sure I wish they kept the connection of their origin to the Shredder, but still, there is a lot to like here. It's not amazing or as charming as the original film, but it certainly is fun!

I'm 30 years old and I enjoyed this movie. Pitched towards kids and it succeeded. The 2 issues had though with the film were that fact that shredder, I swore turned into Megatron a few times, and the back story of the turtles with April. Outside of that I enjoyed what I saw and actually like Michael Bay. Sometimes I need mindless explosions and entertainment in my movies and he never fails me. I mean really they are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You can't possibly expect an Oscar winning performance and script.

I am a fan of the original 3 movies (yes even the time travel one!) so I wasn't sure about this Michael bay produced flick. I enjoyed watching this movie with my family, the differences are large and for some might be too much. The new orgin story is interesting and much better than "aliens" they originally wanted to do. I do wish they had developed the individual characters more but that's a Michael bay film for you. Overall I ended up purchasing the film and have watched it a few times now.

Being a HUGE TMNT fan as a kid growing up, I was very pleased with this latest offering on them. With Micheal Bay behind the movie you know the effects are gonna be good. And they are GREAT...with all the classic humor and roles you'd expect out of the turtles. Now all wrapped up in 3D! And the 3D is awesome as expected. As a buying tip...this 3d version NEVER goes on sale...i waited forever...months! for it to drop...so if you have an itching to buy...just buy it...Its worth it!

I'm a big tmnt fan and I know a lot of people didn't t like this movie. I thought it was pretty good though. Especially the design of the turtles. You can't go into it and expect it to be what the original animated series or movies were. Things change and sometimes for the better. I did have one or two complaints about it but it didn't spoil the movie for me. Plus I'm a collector and the steel case just did it for me. Can't wait to get the collectors edition with the Raphael statue.

I thought this adaption was the best yet ..the most believable characters ie Turtles to date . They are more sophisticated . Yes this movie does have the predictable pretty girl lead ..but I was surprised by how Megan Fox took to the role, and didn't play a lame save me kind of girl. The only one I could do with or without is Will Arnett 's Character. What was he ..some kind of comic relief ? ..I say leave that to the Brothers Turtle! !! They were all kinds of funny themselves.

I went into this movie well after all the memes and hate, and I was expecting a terrible film adaptation. Not so. It wasn't nearly as disastrous as some people would have you believe. I bought it for my son as a birthday present for when he turns six. He might still be a little young, but we'll watch it together and see how it goes. I enjoyed it enough to give it a positive review, especially since poor reviews gave me low expectations.

As a true ninja turtles fan this movie was the closest to the comic books as any movies have been. That being said the movie was a little to focused on April than the turtles, where it should've been. Also the Shredder at the end sounds like a transformer, thanks Michael Bay at least he didn't get to do it his way where the turtles would have come from a planet of super turtles. But all in all a good movie for kids and adults who grew up with the ninja turtles!

Definitely one of my all time favorite show as a kid and was super excited to see the movie. Very well made and true to the original. Definitely looking forward to getting the second part. Can't beat the price either, bestbut has definitely helped me achieve a great movie library. Thanks for the great prices always.

I am not a Michael Bay fan. Loved the first Transformers movie, hated the second one, and I refuse to watch the other movies. However, after watching "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in theaters, I was surprised at how much I liked it. So of course I had to pick it up when it came out. Especially since the Best Buy exclusive is in steelbook packaging and it comes with all four bandanas. So, basically, it was much better than I expected. Recommended viewing.

i was initially skeptical o watching this movie, much less purchasing it, but after a friend let me borrow this and watch it, i was sold. i had my doubts with Michael Bay's vision of the movie, but it was very clear that it stayed mostly true to the old movies and tv show i grew up with. if you love ninja turtles at all, i would recommend it, it may not be the same, but it still holds the same value as whats been true for the past 25 years.

Though sceptical about it at first, I gave it a chance and was well worth it. The story and the feel to the original turtles was still there despite the origin change. Each rl turtle was true to their personality and humor was great. Now they look kinda weird but you grown on them after watching the film. I'd recommend this movie before giving it a final judgment. I'm a long time fan of these dudes and can say I am satisfied with this movie :)

a fun film. Not nearly as groundbreaking as the original film, but still all the fun of that early stuff.

Fan of the Ninja Turtles and that was a good movie but I still think the older movies are more realistic and capture the turtles much more but at least April was better looking than all the rest of the movies, she's always been ugly casted and weak Megan Fox was a little better improvement but not a good actress pretty girl but can't see her in a main role she acts the same in all her movies but the turtles were cowabuga dude

Like most mid thirty year olds, I was hoping this movie would be somewhat like the movie I remembered as a kid to kind of rekindle a little youth in me, but it did no such thing. The graphics are nice, a little too Transformerish for me, and the storyline was far far away from the original. The best thing about this movie was the time me and my daughter spent arguing about which was better the original vs this one.

Don't over-think it. It's loud noises and bright colors and action. It's excellent junk-food for your brain. The turtles have their signature personalities updated for modern audiences. If you hate change, buy a DVD of the original series. If you embrace change and don't take your anthropomorphic talking animals that practice martial arts too seriously, this movie is for you. I grew up in the 80's and loved it.
