As expected it is full of shaky camera fight scenes and explosions. Although Megan Fox is attractive I do not feel she was the best choice for April O'Neil. I know that the story of the Ninja Turtles has changed over the years. I still would have liked them to keep the story as close to the original as possible.

As someone who was a HUGE turtlehead in the 80s, and even still is to this day with a personalized plate, I went in to this with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised. This had a lot of good cartoonish throwbacks. As with any movie, theres always drawbacks, but this is well worth it for old turtleheads.

Bought the movie for my 8 year old son. I have a 25 year old too and he grew up watching the ninja turtles in the 90's so thought this was going to be cheesy. My 8 year old loved it, I actually real liked it. My 25 year old turned it off half way through but what does he know, he's comparing it to the 90's TMNT.

NOT THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES I GREW UP ON BUT IT WAS STILL A FUN MOVIE. I KNOW THEY HAD TO PUT THE "TODAY" SPIN ON IT THAT'S IN ALL THE MOVIES. WATCH IT AND YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME! I PARTICULARLY LIKE THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES MOVIES THAT WERE MADE IN THE 90'S. I STILL WATCH THOSE TO THIS DAY!

It takes sometime getting use to seeing a new version of turtle but in the end it's not all bad. Mikey is pretty funny. Donnie is a little too geeky looking. Leo and Raph are great characters. Raph is definitely ruff and tuff. Overall the movie is decent watch, but nothing tops the first three original movies.

It's a Blu-Ray disc and looks great. Now, about the movie. It is a nice change to see mutant ninja turtles as believable teenagers, att least graphically. The even did Splinter justice. If you are a fan of the comics, then you've already seen the movie. It looks even better on Blu-Ray, as does their co-star.

The movie was good to a certain extent. It showed the turtles in a different light than what has been seen on the big screen before. The turtles themselves left a little more desired with the texture of the cgi and the overall look. The voice actors did a good job, and Megan Fox was okay as April O'Neil.

I made sure to buy the new Ninja Turtles at Best Buy to scoop another exclusive steel book. Very well made with nice art. As for the film itself I enjoyed it for what it was, fun and dumb entertainment. It may be because I set the bar so low but if you can watch it for what it is you'll enjoy it as well.

the Ninja Turtles DVD is great, I now have my own copy. I missed the movie at the box office. the DVD is great, the camera and stage effects were awesome. the story line is understandable for the younger age group. My two year old grandson loves it. A lot of action keeps your attention span well in hand.

An open letter to all those who thought this movie was stupid and childish: Yo Holmes, what did you expect from a movie about turtles that do Karate? If you can't relax and you got no kids this movie is not for you. Anyone else who likes decent special effects and some decent action give it a spin...

I grew up with the turtles and was a fan of the 1st 3 movies and so so on the 4th one. But, the newest installment by far the best. TURTLES were a tad big compared to previous films but I believe it added more than it took away from there realism. If you like action then this Turtle movie is for you.

Was so extremely excited when they were going to do this movie and I didn't get to see it in theaters which was a bummer. Rented it on my TV fell in love had to go out and run to Best Buy to go get it because I need Best Buy always has the movies I want love the movie love Best Buy

Over the summer while in Theatres, I heard negative reviews about this BUT i found this to be a pretty cool pretty exciting film for me and my entire family. It's not to be taken too seriously but sometimes that is what's good about a movie. It was just flat out fun and I enjoyed that a great deal.

I bought the new TMNT steelbook and was very excited about it. It was just okay, so I was a little disappointed. I'm not sure what it was missing there was just something about it. It is still a solid, fun and light-hearted family action flick that everyone will enjoy. Just don't expect greatness.

I expected a poor movie after all the media Comments but after watching it is worth the buy and a great family movie. Some of the origin story has changed but for the most part it is enjoyable and does reference a lot of what we loved in the original cartoon. It's fun, fresh and worth the buy.

I have always been a fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! I've loved them since childhood and this film takes me back! The action is great and the movie looks fantastic! It will never win awards, but TMNT is about FUN and you'll have FUN watching this movie!

My biggest childhood obsession was TMNT. Now, I have my own kids who share my obsession. While many complain about this moving straying from what we remember as kids, I felt it was great fun--fresh while respectful--and my kids had a great time seeing it, so we got it for our home collection.

It was a good movie overall, in parts the movie wasn't consistent specially because in the beginning of the movie seems like the Ninja Turtles were very strong (knocking trailers out) but then as the movie goes there are parts where the turtles seem powerless and that didn't make much sense.

i was not going to buy this originally then i heard from a friend it was a decent flick so i bought it with my best buy points i figured if i didn't like it no big loss that way but i have to say i was surprised it was a excellent movie plus it gave a history between april and the turtles

Growing up with the turtles cartoon and then hearing about this I was very hesitant on it. I didn't go to the theaters because I wanted to wait for it to come out. After watching this movie it actually was not bad. Had some funny moments and nothing really over the top like the older ones
