Overall a pretty fun game, but a few aspects (especially customization mode) are a little too barebones for my liking. Should definitely be $10 cheaper.

One of the best Tekken games in the series! Everything about it is just right, from gameplay, the roster of characters, story, and the music. You really can't go wrong with Tekken 8, whether you are a returning player or new to the franchise it is definitely worth buying.

Not only is the fighting, music, and visuals great, but this game has a ton of single player content. There are effectively 3 full story modes: A grand cinematic one, individual character stories, and an arcade story mode where you travel to different arcades. Very full featured!

Tekken 8 delivers intense, fast-paced combat with stunning visuals and smoother mechanics than ever. The Heat system adds aggressive strategy, and each character feels powerful and unique. The story mode is engaging, online play is solid, and the gameplay feels tighter, making it one of the strongest entries in the series.

I loved every minute of this game's story mode. While I did feel somewhat bewildered by the fact returning character did get changes to many of their older moves while other moves got removed completely, it was fun relearning old favorite such as Xiaoyu, Jin, Hwaorang, Kazuya, Asuka, Lili, and a lot of fun playing with the new faces such as Victor, Reina, and Azucena! The story was DEFINITELY a major improvement over what we got in Tekken 7 as well, getting rid of the dumb emotionless narrator, nothing but fun action, more characters and character interactions, attempts at expanding relationships with certain characters like Jin and Asuka (though there still much more I want to see between them in terms of interaction since, so much potential is missing thanks to the Asuka VS Lili rivalry). My only issue.... Arcade Quest. I didn't feel much for it when they announced it online, and sadly Super Ghost Battle is locked until I progress through that. I personally do not like the avatars not a s most look weird and just, didn't need an Arcade Quest. I'm just gonna guess this was Namco's response to World Tour mode in Street Fighter 6 (which was good unlike Arcade Quest). I like that Tekken Ball is back and Arcade mode is a REAL arcade mode this time now that it has 8 fights to go through. Only thing we need is Survival, Time Attack, Team Battles, and maybe a Tekken Force mode that's like the one of the later Story Mode battles. And I would love to see one that has a endless mode to it too. Definitely worth 70 dollars, though I wish it wasn't that much since I miss the times full price games were 60 instead.

Tekken 8 on PlayStation 5 is a fantastic addition to the iconic fighting game series. The graphics are stunning, taking full advantage of the PS5's capabilities to deliver incredibly detailed characters and environments. The gameplay is smooth and responsive, with a refined combat system that retains the classic Tekken feel while introducing new mechanics to keep things fresh. The roster is diverse and well-balanced,

After a 6-7 year gap between 7 and 8, the whole wait for this amazing is well worth the wait. The graphics and visuals are incredible, the soundtrack is amazing, the gameplay is fun and addictive as usual, and the story, although admittedly a bit short, still had a great send off to the Mishima saga. Even after obtaining all achievements, I'm still in the spirit of replaying and having fun in online matches. This game is a must buy for Tekken fans or any fighting game fans in general.

I've been watching Tekken 8 frequently, so I decided to buy it for myself! It's a lot of fun learning and practicing the mechanics; surpassing your current skill level is an awesome feeling. I'm a huge fan of the customization options as well!

I'm a Tekken fan and have been a fan for well over 20 years so when this game got announced I was for sure getting it. I pretty much love everything about it, it has a great day one roster of characters to choose from. A great ost, fun game modes and a solid storyline. All in all I really like this entry in the series and i high recommend it for all Tekken fans like me and any newcomers willing to take their first dive into the series.
