great movie with charleston heston. very historical account fo moses life from the bible. long movie at 3 and half hours but definetly worth watching.

This was the perfect upgrade to my collection. It replaced my VHS tape maximizes the utilization of my DVD device. My collection continues to expand.

I wanted to watch the Ten Commandments in its entirety, unlike when it airs on tv. It is a classic and I will watch it annually.

Great timeless story and what people need now. to see love and sin and god. maybe learn how to better today and tomorrow. WOW! This is an AMAZING looking disc! I've seen The Ten Commandments dozens of times since childhood, but I have never seen it look so magnificent. The sharpness puts the regular Blu-ray edition to shame, but it is the richness of the colors and the addition of Dolby Vision HDR that really sends it all the way over the top. This is one of the most phenomenal 4k discs of any classic film ever released. The magnificence of the sets, and especially the textures and details of the costumes, really shows off what 4k is all about. Just extraordinary looking! If you love this movie you truly MUST own this disc! The quality is worth my raving about! It really is that incredible!

The most excellent Geek Squad installer who mounted the OLED TV saw the BluRay and declared that "is the gold standard". Indeed, it is. The color and the detail seem to me to be even better than when I saw it in the theater. The movie is a classic in its own right, but this rendering is in a class of its own. In 4K Ultra HD, The Ten Commandments tells an extremely moving story. In fact, it was quite an achievement in its day. Cecil B. DeMille certainly deserves accolades for just the technical achievement alone. If anyone enjoys this sort of production and has the equipment to play it in 4K Ultra HD, this is a worthy acquisition -- and it truly is the gold standard in the technology.

Picture quality in this restoration rivals even today's 4K clarity. Indeed, technical advances since the film's release in 1956 have made the film look even better, removing what we called "the blue line" from around characters and objects shot in front of screened background material. Fine digi-book packaging completes the excellent release. I highly recommend this release for fans of the film or DeMille (it's cinematic history, folks! Even if it IS really the "last silent movie" in execution) and newcomers to the director's style and substance.

Outstanding transfer of a perennial favorite. I've seen this movie in single-screen movie palaces and on televisions through the years ranging from 13" Trinitrons to 65" OLEDs. This is the most immersive, beautiful version of this movie I've seen since the glory days of the grand movie halls ... and it might even be better than them. Don't hesitate to get this classic Technicolor epic in this spiffy new version, and at a great price, too.

This movie is a time honored classic that will never be out of style. The colors in the movie are very vibrant and was glad to see that it fills up the whole tv screen with no black bars at the top and bottom like many other movies have. A wonderful teaching of Moses and the Hebrew people and of Christ's commandments and the penalty for those who disobey him. Highly recommend.

What can you say about this movie that hasn't already been said a million times. It is an epic classic. What I can say is the 4K version is nothing short of spectacular. The video here is off the charts. The colors, actors, costumes and sets come to life. This is pure visual bliss that the 4K format can showcase. It is the HDR which brings this to life. Outstanding transfer overall. A real treat to behold.

I have always enjoyed this movie, with the phenomenal all-star cast!! Prior to purchasing this movie, I watched it on blu-ray. Then I purchased the 4K and there really is no comparison! The transition is visually stunning, with clear colors that pop. The socio was truly great also. If you love this biblical classic, I highly recommend this 4k version for your dvd collection.

A true classic that you will watch time and time again. I highly recommend seeing this film remastered in 4K. We aren’t a religions family by any means, but this movie is just a great story, and one of Charlton Heston’s best pieces of work. You won’t be disappointed. We watch this every Easter, and enjoy it more every year. Especially now that it is in 4K.
