One of my favorite films from my youth. Pfeiffer and Gibson steam up the screen in this action crime drama while Russell and Raul Julia play great supporting roles. It is a story of best friends who are on opposite sides of the law and involved with the same women. We follow the police investigation trying to take down a Mexican drug lord while we get involved in the relationship between Pfeiffer, Gibson and Russell. Blu-ray disc, packaging, picture and sound quality good. Presented in 177:1 aspect ratio.

This movie is upbeat and underscores the importance of friendship, loyalty and love. The plot includes drugs, fine dining, surfing, lovemaking, good parenting, and ACTION! The confluence of all these makes for entertainment.

Great classic 80's movie. Great actors, story, action, characters, etc.. Great recommend.

Can't beat early Mel Gibson, Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell. Good movie, Good action thriller

This movie has it all. I watch it every year on my birthday and never tire of it. It has action, adventure and romance. This is Mel Gibson, Kurt Russel and Michele Phfiefer at their best. I believe that this is one of the most underrated movies of this decade. Please watch this and decide for yourself....But when you fall in love with this movie (as well as your girl) thank me!!!!

This glossy yet refined presentation of old high school chums who have gone in different directions in lives after graduation is stunning in it's presentation. The subtle but increasing rivalry between Gibson and Russell over Ms Pfeiffer reminds one of Golden 1930's, 1940" Hollywood. Here is a well directed movie that move smartly along matched only by the exceptional cinematography. A must see movie with the three main actors in their prime.
