I needed this specific type of calculator for a class and it was exactly what I needed. It had all the functions that I was required to have and the buttons are easy to use. It's only as complicated as you would make it out to be. TI calculators are a bit overpriced to be but it's a great calculator for my needs.

This is the second one I purchased! It is one of 2 financial calculators approved for use on the CFA exam. I teach in higher education and it is the calculator I recommend to all of my finance students. Easy to use and very useful for all financial analysts.

I purchased the BA-II financial calculator for an MBA program and it has served me well. It has all the financial abilities needed for a graduate level finance course or for those that would use it every day. The only feature I thought was lacking is the memory feature of a standard calculator. Although it will store data points from a spreadsheet, there is no easy way to add or subtract numbers from a running total.

I was required to purchase this specific model calculator for my intermediate accounting class in college. I will also likely continue to use it in my accounting career. Advanced functionality is very useful in the accounting profession.

This is the calculator to get when you start taking accounting and finance courses in college. It calculates time value of money. TI also makes a more advanced financial calculator for twice the price, but that one is for experienced business professionals who are into advanced finance.

I purchased this calculator for my son, a college senior, who required a well-rated calculator that could perform numerous tasks for some business courses. While he finds this BA-II meeting most all of his expectations, he has found one drawback to be the default Rounding mechanism in some math calculations, which made some responses problematic, where 100% accuracy was required by Professors.
