My daughter read the Sleepy Hollow story and wanted to see the Disney movie version. We watched it together and she thought it was a cute story. She was not too crazy about Mr. Toad's story. There was a part in the movie of Ichabod's story I did remember watching when I saw this movie as a child. I also thought this was a tv special, and not actually a Disney release since I saw the original for the first time on tv, not a movie theater.

The antics of Toad are simply delightful, but Ichabod is the quintessential Halloween story from when I was a kid. I have loved these two stories since I first saw them - and now that they are out in HD, so much fun to see again and share. The Adventures of Mr. Toad still exists as a ride in Disneyland, but sadly was replaced at WDW - a bust of Toad now is on the hill near the Haunted Mansions in the pet graveyard....

First things first: Disney has done an excellent job making these animated stories look beautiful. Being a stupid kid (even at 55), I was expecting a story of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. Nope, two different stories based upon *The Legend of Sleepy Hollow* and *The Wind in the Willows*. What I remember of these stories barely intersects what I find in the animation. Whatever. I'll take it for what it is, two cute stories. They're not mind-blowing, but enjoyable. Barely over one hour, kind of short. Better than being bloated with inconsequential songs, I'm sure.

I grew up watching the cartoons on this release around Halloween and whenever I felt like it. It would be nice to see Disney get around to fully restoring all of their back catalog but for now this is good enough. If you're listening Disney time to give all of your back catalog the 4k treatment! Just look at how good your other classics are and the Peanuts Holiday Collection looks on 4k.

bought this for the Digital copy. I apparciate the stories. I like this DVD very much.

Loved it as a kid. I’m 47 with kids and I still love this Disney Classic. The school teacher Ichabod Crane and the headless horseman. Never really cared for the movie Mr. Toad but oh well. Well worth buying just for The Adventures of Ichabod. A great Halloween movie for the little ones.

I was feeling nostalgic at Halloween and decided to try to find this on Blu Ray! Totally worth it! Great price, prompt ability to pick up in store, and now I have the clearest version of this classic that I have ever seen! Great buy.

I've seen one of the 2 films on this Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy, and thought it was great. Watching the other one (Mr. Toad) was not as good, but still enjoyed watching both nonetheless. It'd be a great time to watch around Halloween.

This classic Disney movie is a must for your family. The tale of Mr. Todd is timeless. The cartoon of Ichabod is enjoyable even beyond Halloween. I totally love that Bing Crosby is part of this Disney classic.

Disney quality and moving up to blu-ray. Yes, I am one of those... I’ve had my Disney movies on VHS, a few on Laserdisc, most on DVD, and now I’m finally moving up to Blu-Ray. This is definitely one of the lesser released ones, so I’m glad to find it at a good price too.

This movie is presented in standard format not letterbox but during watching you tend to forget about that. The color transfer looks accurate and vivid. It compares very well to the same presentation on Disney plus. This is worth the purchase.

Purchased because I wanted the best version of The Adventures of Ichabod. The story of Mr. Toad is an ok addition but not necessary. This Blu-ray did not disappoint.

This is not an easy Disney cartoon to find. I was excited to finally locate it at Best Buy at an affordable price. The cartoon is child friendly and fun to watch.

Had a hard time finding this blu-ray anywhere else locally. Checked the Best Buy website and it told me exactly which stores near me had it in stock.

I absolutely love the music in this film. Fantastic animation and wonderful characters. Definitely one of Disney's more obscure classics.

Two excellent cartoon movies. MR. FROG FROM WIND IN THE WILLOWS AND THE ADVENTURES OF ICHABOD are great cartoons from my past.

This is a great Halloween tradition that we watched when our kids were little so we wanted to watch it for nostalgia.

Trying to figure out the wonderfully bizarre ride at Disneyland forces one to go back to the original source material.
