This movie didn't quite go where I thought it would, but was very well acted. Those of us who know of the real history or Germany after the war will enjoy this one, but it doesn't go very deep into the history. More of a love story in some ways.

My wife and I were not able to see this movie in our local movie theater and am happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and am looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

Well, I bought this movie about a year ago b/c I seen it had good reviews. However, it sat on my shelf all this time b/c a part of me felt I was never in the mood to watch such a film. Man, was I wrong! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and was pleasantly surprise. If you are the type of person that's easily distracted and half pay attention to the movies as you watch, then you will probably not be drawn to the movie. However, if you like movies with an emotional connection and deeper substance then this is definitely worth a watch.

A tasteful and thoughtful story of life, love, separation and finely renewing one’s direction and eventual deep feeling for one another. The story-line is a superbly crafted triangle of relationships with three principle characters and the director found a way to hold it all together, and give it meaning and purpose. It will be an easy saga to return to and renew acquaintances with.

Both my husband and I loved the movie. You don't see much about what happens after the war ends and how it affects people's lives. It is a tragic and romantic drama.

I loved everything about it. Love that there were no bad people just people with so much pain doing the best they could to heal and helping each other to do so.

ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES I SAW IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS. THE ACTORS WERE FANTASTIC. IT IS NICE TO SEE BOTH SIDES OF WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST.

This was a pretty good movie liked it overall good action good story interesting plot definitely something that would be different if that truly happened

I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of purchasing online & curbside pick up with BestBuy - however I have not watched the movie yet it was a gift.
