This is a resistance movie against the Japanese occupation of Jap facility in Seoul,Korea. the resistance tries to bring in explosives to destroy it. plenty action sound track is great.

Filked with entertaining elements. Strongly recommend

I was intrigued from the beginning by the fantastic opening action sequence. Questions began to form in mind that I hoped would be answered as the drama unfolded. There are twists and turns that kept me guessing who was on which side and the identities of the moles. I had better stop before I give too much of the plot, subplots and mystery away. However, I have to say the sequence of scenes aboard the train is intense and had me sitting on the edge of my seat. In the end the light erased the shadows and my questions were answered.

Great action set-pieces keep this 140 minute political/crime/drama chugging along. Some have said this is too long and too complicated...it is neither, in my opinion. Great cast, especially Song Kang-ho & Gong Yoo as the lead characters, tell this story set during the Japanese occupation of Korea in the 1930's. Double crossing spies and twisted loyalties abound.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in many years. The actors' performance is excellent and the directing is top rated. For example the lighting of the entire movie is very well done to show characters' faces but the entire atmosphere is kept as dark and secret. I will watch it again even though I already know the outcome of the story.

This film provides great fighting tactics with a flare of western and Korean ingenuity. The story-line takes the audience through different mazes of cat and mouse. Very well done. Good film for the whole family.

I enjoy some Asian movies, and will continue to buy them, for family movie enjoyment home time. They have similar stories, plus martial arts involved.

I saw this movie at a festival last year and it was one of my favorites. Everything about it is so well executed. Kim Jee Woon is such an incredible director.

This is a Korean action film with great story,breath taking action and gorgeous costumes and scenery. Action film lovers will love it.
