The Birds takes the most innocuous of God's creatures and turns them into Freddy Kruger. In a CGI challenged age, Hitchcock uses camera angles, skilled actors and iconic music to make you glad you're not in that movie. As usual, Hitch leaves it up to the viewer to be a participant in the story (to say more would be a spoiler). The Birds was Hitch's ONLY "monster" movie but a blueprint for all director's who followed to take a piece of.

A classic film with a sweet steelbook cover. I love this trend of putting poster art on the cover of these steelbooks. The film looks and sounds fantastic. I've only recently started getting into Hitchcock and I haven't regretted it yet.

I really like this movie. First time I saw this Movie was when I was a Kid! This movie had Lots of Action and Suspense And Blood, then. I still really Enjoy Watching this movie, The Birds. Bravo to the Actors and Actresses of this movie. Kudos to the Director of this movie. Peace!

This is an amazing steelbook. The art pops, the back panel of Hitchcock ties it together perfectly, and to top it off the transfer on the film is top notch and complete with extras. You can’t ask for a better release than this.

A stunning and beautiful movie. Despite obvious technical limitations, this movie is extremely well done , can instill a fair share of anxiety, and is ultimately a classic. All within a beautifully simple steelbook.

As always Hitchcock is great, and the 4k version makes the Birds look even better the before. If you are a fan of Hitchcock then you need to check this version out. it is worth the purchase.

Awesome steelbook of a underrated movie. I'm a big steelbook collector so this was a no-brainer. Great detailing on the packaging and great picture quality on the discs.

Hitchcock was the master of suspense and back in the day people were probably having a heart attack watching this really good film and picture quality is outstanding and the steelbook is gorgeous

Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" has never looked better on this blu-ray release. In brief, birds start to go awry for no reason. They attack a local town in California. Even though the films is over 50 years old, it still sends thrills and chills down one's spine, better than most modern thrillers.

You cannot go wrong with the master of filmmaking! Amazing quality in the transfer. If you like Alfred Hitchcock, then don't skip out on the SteelBooks! It makes a great collector's item.

The video transfer looks great and the audio is crystal clear! The color and grain of the film feel like a window into the 1960s, rather than "looking old", and it's a joy to watch. Lots of interesting extras to watch too, even though some of them are after the fact documentaries.

One of Hitchcock's best never looked better. Crisp picture and sound looks like it was filmed yesterday! I am very happy with the purchase, and of course, the beautiful steelbook

This has the 4K release and is a great restoration for a timeless classic. Also comes with a Bluray that can be added to your Steelbook with the famous added adhesive nipple

I already had the dvd version which was a very clean transfer however THIS 4k version is truly amazing . Its a must have if you loved this film

ah, the colors and sharp angles remind you why this is such a classic. deep saturation, top of the line speical effects for the time still hold up today. its fun to see how many modern filmms stole from this classic. just sit back with your kids and friends and enjoy.

Awesome movie great UHD 4k picture. Resolution is very crisp and clean, sound is tight.If Hitchcock were alive today this is how he would have done his movie.

What is there to say here other than a masterpiece of a old school thriller movie by the genius Mr. Hitchcock. This blu-ray transfer looks and sounds great especially for a movie of its age.

Classic Hitchcock at his best. Tippi Hedren is an exceptional actor though during the making of this film, Hitchcock was quite abrusive towards her.
