The 1980 John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd BLUES BROTHERS movie never looked or sounded this good! You can immediately tell that the John Landis supervised restoration was a labor of love, As a bonus Best Buy has had it on sale. Turn the sound up and find yourself wondering if you should remain seated or start dancing. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved seeing this classic movie on 4K disc. We love Best Buy, simply put. We do not go anywhere else for all of our accessories and electronics and all that kind of thing. We buy all of our appliances and movies and iPhones, at our favorite store...Best Buy. We love, Best Buy. May you be around forever!!!

I totally enjoyed seeing this movie again...I had forgotten many of the parts and had to laugh at them once again...the picture is much better than previous recordings...a little too grainy in parts, but overall good transfer. The sound is totally awesome...remixed just right...wow what great music..."We are on a mission from God"

When the music kicked in, I just started grinning. I watched the extended edition (the theatrical version is apparently missing a few seconds), and loved every minute of it. The transfer and the new soundtrack sounded great; I'm glad to finally have a version without lossy audio for a movie that demands the best in that area.

A bit contrived, but the all-star, musical cameos are worth the price of admission. John Landis, who also directed "Animal House," manages to fill "The Blues Brothers" with extra shots, distracting editing, views of virtually everything from too many angles. This is part of the movie's exhausting overkill, and it also means that when the brothers drive a car into a shopping mall, they will crash into every last plate glass window. And it means that when the brothers perform before an audience, the crowd will rise to its feet in unison, or clap so enthusiastically that their behavior seems entirely pre-fab. There are parts of "The Blues Brothers" that would have played infinitely better with a knock-about feeling, a sloppiness like that of "Animal House." As it is, the movie is airless. The stakes needn't have been so high.

So lucky to have found a ateelbook of this. The 4k disc has both versions of the film (theatrical and extended) and the extras. If I could give half a star this would be 4 1/2 instead of a full five because the extras are a bit light. That does not take anything of the film nor the transfer. This is a worthy upgrade

John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd are superb in this classic comedy as the Blues Brothers. With a supporting cast of historic musical talents (James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Cab Calloway) awesome car chases, musiccoriograpy and a revenge stricken stood up at the altar bride (Carrie Fisher) this movie still entertains Today. If you have never seen it definitely get it and see the magic of classic movie making

This 4k of Blues Brothers is the best this film will look. Though their is grain, it is very watchable. The real reason to get this version is the sound. They killed the remaster of the soundtrack. You feel like you are in a concert as the songs get played. A must pickup if you are a fan of the movie.

Even though I have seen this movie over 100 times, I purchased this 4K HD version. WOW was I ever impressed! The quality of the 4K transfer is fantastick. The sound is better than I remember. If you loved this movie, buy this 4K version. They wrecked 103 cars which was a world record that stood for 20 years.

Longtime fans of this movie are in for a treat with this stunning new transfer and amazingly dynamic audio presentation. Music plays a central role in this film and I can honestly say it has never sounded better. This is the definitive version on home video. Do yourself a favor and pick it up today!

Includes both the classic Theatrical Version and the Extended Version from the original 1980 Picwood preview (seems visually superior). [If you haven't seen "Neighbors," it's worth tracking down. It's a bizarre, unsettling comedy—their trademark chemistry is turned on its head as Belushi plays hapless straight man to sociopath/lunatic Aykroyd.]

This film has never looked and sounded better. Fans of this classic will not be disappointed in the care Universal has taken in transferring this to 4K UHD with HDR. Those who’ve never seen the film will be in for a treat. Outside of a large cinema, this is the second best way to enjoy this film.

Such a fun movie and the restoration is phenomenal. The remastered picture and sound make it look like it was made today. Not to say it looks like it was digitally shot. It looks like it was shot on film, with all the warmth of the striking colors and grain. It was so much fun to watch!

Excellent movie. Classic. Would love to have 4k title what's love got to do with it, Tina Turner movie on bluray. Thank you. Please let me know when it comes out.

It was great fun to rewatch Blues Brothers in 4K. It's a low-budget film, but looks fantastic in UltraHD. The packaging in the sturdy steelbook case is a great upgrade as well, although the artwork is a bit silly. For fans of the movie, this is the definitive version.

The 4k Experience, while watching the Blue Brothers, was awesome! They cleaned up the picture and sound to make this a truly amazing experience. A must for any BB fan or anyone who loves comedy and music. The steelbook packaging is also gorgeous and worth the price of the movie.

One of my favorite films of all time I was very happy when it first arrived on Blu-Ray I was ecstatic when I found out that it was available on 4K. Everything is a great upgrade with this film very extraordinarily wonderful transfer and the audio is amazing.

The hilarious story of Jake & Elwood Blues, the Blues Brothers! It was so much fun entering the wild and irreverent world of the brothers as they try to save the orphanage where they were raised, through the performance of so many R&B and blues classics.

Such a great comedy packed with laughs and is a classic finally restored for 4K. If you are a fan of comedy or movies based in Chicago you should pick up this movie and play it loud in your home theater. An absolute must have for any 4K or movie collection!

An all-time classic, that should be watched every few years or so. Not only is the movie extremely funny, but it sends a good message that even the small-time law breakers, Jake and Elwood Blues, can do good in the world. They finally have a chance to make their lives count by helping the orphanage that raised them.
