This film gives you a small glimpse of what life was like in Euorpe during Adolf Hitler's regime. Sad, tragic and heartwarming.

I had read the book, so the plot of the movie was not a surprise. It is a good story of a young girls triumph over horrible circumstances. Great for young people.

Excellent jaunt through history and the impact the Germans inflicted on ordinary citizens in World War II

I would suggest reading the book first to get the history and a feel for the characters. I felt that this movie was true to the book.

The historical content and understanding provided in this movie is excellent. It was very well made with captivating action.
