The plot is very fantastic, bizarre, and downright weird in some places, but the animation is top-notch, and themes of acceptance, forgiveness, and identity give the movie real resonance. Somewhere between "Wolf Children" and "Summer Wars" in terms of quality.

This is a wonderful tale of growth for two individuals whom continuously learn from each other. Whether you like animated movies or not, this is a must see.

If you're a fan of Miyazaki's films, this movie is worth a watch. It's an awesome tale about growing up, and I'm not afraid to say that it made me cry a bit.

Good story line. Two parallel worlds , wonderful possibilities with magic playing a very conservative factor. Animal society with similarities to human society but more advance in the moral code with a Savage side.

Cool animation. The kids shared it with me and it kept me viewing. Good family fun.

This is a new anime that I wanted to try out. It has a very Disney feel at first. I liked the story a lot. It's a good buy.

my two year and husband love anime and they watch tons of them together. We got this on a trip to Monterey for my son to watch in the car. Great entertainment for a 2.5 hr trip.
