It's been a while since a good racing game, and even longer for a good racing game to play with friends. This game is definitely best playing with a group and is great about getting you to compete against yourself when you are playing alone. Big game, lots of content, definitely one to have on your shelf to keep going back to.

Fun game, like the ability for multiplayer. I have many hours in this game and continue to enjoy the play. Cars are great looking and the customization is decent, I'd like to see more parts available. For instance there's a front and rear fender section but as far as I can tell, no specs have different fenders available

I have to say this is one the best racing open world games I have playes yet the driving vharacteriatics of the game is amazing as well are the graphics and the feeling of speed and difference in the dofferent hp power levels of the super cars compared to the sport cars amd street cars. The level high performance modding is just insane especially with the fact you can have a Mustang and set it up to be an off roading mad max 5.0 is awesome. Great racing game over all again Iam have been a NFS fan and player since thw oroginal back in the 90s with the Road and Track NFS amd habe to say I NFS Rivals is really the biggest disapoint out of all the need for speed games I have played in my life.

    Not worth the money

Pros: Graphics are stunning Map is huge. Story line is good. There is a long list of critical negatives coming, though. Negatives: First things first is customization. I am not happy with the complete lack of customization. Need for Speed Underground was the definition of making a car your own. There are a lot of things Ubisoft could do to earn back a star or two, starting with giving us the ability to layer decals. Nothing makes me more upset than the way car games are getting with their lack of customization. Seriously, give us the ability to actually make our cars ours. Secondly, I cannot tint my windows or paint my wheels bright green. When I found the stripe I wanted to put on my car, I couldn't even change the color of it. I give this game 1/5 stars for customization because I do like that they give you options to change the bumpers and they are actually really cool. I'm adding this in because I forgot. To get performance upgrades, you have to do these ridiculous road challenges to win the parts. What happened to the good old days of just saving up money and purchasing upgrades for your car? It really takes a lot of time trying to drive around and win parts for your car so that you can beat the next mission. The physics behind the police cars are less believable than my sister telling me she enjoyed watching the Quidditch match on ESPN. The police cars will literally own your life in this game and it is most apparent on the prison bus mission. The cop cars will catch up to you out of no wheres and then ram you, spinning you out. They'll lock their brakes in front of you and you will stop like an egg hitting concrete. Then, before you can even get your car in reverse, you've been apprehended. I know this game is an arcade style racing game, but my god, this is ridiculous. I'm going to tie in my dislike of the separation of car specs and my hatred of having to use specific specs on missions. For starters, why do I have to win parts for my car specs separately? If I win a lvl 25 exhaust in Dirt Spec, I should also have that exhaust in Street and the others. Also, street spec is the dumbest thing. I use circuit spec to drive everywhere, its much quicker. The only reason street spec exists is to make you do stupid challenges to win parts every now and then. Realistically the only specs that are necessary are Performance (bundle Perf and Circuit), Dirt, and Raid. You should be able to choose what spec you want to use for certain missions, like driving to my HQ when I get to a new city, why am I forced to use street spec? I'd like to use Perf or Circuit. Lastly, the PvP and "Crew" are a joke. I cannot find anyone to create a crew with. I can never seem to get an event going. Online play should be completely separate. Create a crew with people and race. Make it so 1 person can race alone online for their crew or race with their crew against other crews. The online portion of the game should be revamped completely. All in all, this game could have been the new definition of racing games, now that NFS has taken a turn for the worse. Instead, this game copied a lot of NFS's features (or lack thereof) and added a few of their own. This game is not worth the money and I wish I could return it. But, if there was a very large overhaul, I could see myself enjoying the game. For now, I'm going to keep playing it until I beat the story mode.

Great game, nice graphics and a cool story line. Almost like Need For Speed and Grand Theft Auto had merged and created a child. If you get a chance, go ahead and play it!

Huge open world to drive around. I ended up getting used to the driving and really liked it. A little repetitive in the race/mission types. The ones where you need to ram a guy until his car breaks down are just terrible. Overall, though I enjoyed most of my time with this game.

The car's are insane. You're guaranteed to find at least 5 that you'll fall in love with. The driving dynamic are acceptable no complaints there. The graphics are superb the attention to detail is amazing. You just want to drive up to things and check them out.

This game is all about free roam and racing when you want, how you want. It does require an internet connection to be able to play. If you enjoyed the Need for Speed series then I am sure you will have plenty of fun in The Crew.

The overall game play is not bad. Like any game it can be a pain, but it allows you to co-op play with a friend that can make it more doable at times. On sale for $39.99 plus my 20% discount with gamers club. Not a bad deal!

I enjoyed the Crew-Play Station 4 game, as I love to drive, and this game takes me to places I have not visited. The graphics are good, and the simulated driving experience satisfying and fun.

Props should be given for making an amazingly huge world to race in. However their are downsides to this in the fact that the graphics are pretty subpar compared to other games on the market. Couple this with an ai that will unrealistically slow down or speed up to keep the race close and you have a frustrating experience at time. That being said it is fun to play with friends, which is why I haven't traded it in yet but if I was going to play solo I would stay away from this game and pick a different racing game or wait for a better one.
