My friend and I really like playing co-op games. We also really like story-driven games like this, but unfortunately not enough of them support multiplayer outside of this Dark Pictures Anthology series. We bought this and played through it the same night (it lasts roughly 4 hours) and then played through it again the next day from the other characters' perspective and made different choices to see how different the story can be. We both enjoyed it. The story is good (though the ending didn't make much sense, I take a point off the score just for that), there's the occasional jump scares (which I like, but my friend not so much) and the graphics look great. Obviously a lot of effort goes into this with the professional voice acting and motion capture they use, I'm surprised they only charge $30 for these games when they're certainly not made on a small budget. I definitely recommend this game if you're into the whole "choose-your-own-adventure" style games. You can play online with a friend (there's no voice chat support, I guess they don't want you communicating because you spend quite a bit of the game separated and seeing different things) or local multiplayer where you and four others can pass the controller around the room, and of course there's an option where you can just play it alone. After you beat the game and the credits roll they play a trailer for the next entry in the series and my friend and I are already looking forward to it.

I'm a huge fan of these games from Supermassive. Until Dawn will always be my favorite, but Man of Medan was a pleasant surprise. Little Hope nails the super creepy atmosphere, and gameplay you've come to know and expect from either of the previously mentioned games. It may be even creepier at times. I won't ruin any of the story elements, but for me it was engaging enough to keep my interest. By no means the best story ever, and the characters were the least appealing to me of any of these games now, but I still dug it. Can't wait for more. There are some technical bugs which really need to be addressed. The game crashed a few times between scenes, and I actually encountered a major error that wiped my game save. Fortunately my saves were backed up the PS+ cloud! There are definitely better games out there, but I love what these games offer. A mix of horror movie, choose your own adventure, and a bit of gameplay mixed in. I hope they keep the series going (ideally longer games/stories please). Also wish they would allow you to play online with someone who doesn't own the game. I thought it had that when I bought it... My fault for not looking first.

Very fun game. Mechanics are better than Man of Medan before it. Plot is very good. The choices don't seem to impact the game as much as previous games so thats unfortunate but all in all its a great game and worth the price.

Great story and has some well timed jump scares. Thoroughly enjoyed it, knocked one star off because the controls could be better.

I got this one after playing Man of Medan which, 100% honesty, wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. I honestly enjoyed this one, though. I liked the storyline in this one much better. That being said, you kinda get what you pay for... it's a very short game just like Man of Medan, but it does have some replayability if you want to see all the scenarios. Overall, it's pretty decent and definitely worth a play if you liked Until Dawn and especially if you liked Man of Medan.

If you played the first game you know what to expect. They did make some changes that make some of the quick times easier so I enjoyed this one a bit more. The story is great for psychological horror, taking a page from history just like the first game in the series. if you love interactive movies like this for this price you can't beat it.

A fun game especially when playing with your significant other or a friend. I will say that this is much more about solving a mystery than a true scary game such as Until Dawn or Man of Medan. That doesn't mean that there isn't scary imagery, jump scares of that sort of thing but it is just different and a lot of the time I felt more like I was solving a mystery rather than playing a scary game. The facial animations can be goofy at times like the other two games I mentioned and you can actually tell sometimes that the game is trying to determine what a person should say based on previous events/selections and kind of hangs for a second or two while zoomed in on a person face as it processes that information and they just dart their eyes around and seems so strange. Doesn't happen that often but does look goofy when it does. All in all a worth while playthrough and an easy decision to buy when it drops to $20 as you will not get many hours of entertainment doing much else for that kind of low price.

Little Hope is the 2nd installment of the Dark Pictures Anthology. Great story. The QTEs are annoying but doesn't take away from the story. I like it. Various possible endings make it worth it. If you like jump scares in a story with a "twist" ending, give it a try. You won't regret it.

An eerie storyline in which the decisions you make affect your relationships with the characters and the game's outcome. Enjoyed playing this with my teen. We were both screaming at some of the scarier parts. Controls are a little goofy when the camera angles change but not too terrible. We loved the story and the scares. Playing it again to see what other endings we can get.

If you are looking for a follow up game for Until Dawn you will be disappointed. However, the game has amazing graphics, a decent story line, and is very slow. The Supermassive game formula used for Until Dawn just seems to be gone, but there is still an appreciation for the the games that they continue to make for fans of the franchise.

A creepy woods setting is perfect for this type of game. It's definitely more memorable than Man of Medan. It's a typical scary movie type angle with dislikable characters, cheesy lines and bad decisions. I enjoyed the short playthrough and had everyone survive to the very end. Only issue I had was that you need to unlock seemingly negative personality traits for some to survive which was a bit misleading. Buy this at a bargain price only because of the short playthrough.

I thought this game was pretty good. I liked the plot and characters. Just something about witches that gets me every time. I like to check every clue, but you need to be careful. In one scene I was checking a highlighted object. It just so happened to be a door handle. I ended up leaving the building, and couldn’t get back in. I will have to replay to inspect the rest of the building. Other than that this was a good time. I will pick up the next in the series.

This is the second realistic game in the Dark Picture game Anthology (the first being the Man of Medan) and these games are amazing and realistic. The story line is easy to follow and you will easily find yourself fully engulfed in the imagery.

Great game. Better than the first one in the anthology, in my opinion. The creators should really think about making this a TV series with several new stories (like Tales From the Crypt, Twilight Zone, Tales From the Darkside, etc.)

This is the second of 8 games planned for the collection of the Dark Pictures Anthology. Story wise it's a step up from the Man of Medan which is also a decent game. Some people might be put off by the story's conclusion, however I think it's still a good game on its own that has a very good concept. I feel like it never really reaches it's true potential in the end but entertaining nonetheless.
