These actors should have done this movie in the 80's

My wife loved the movie. A lot of action and looked great on my UHD TV.

The action scenes are thick, fast and brutal, but arrive in batches more towards the latter part of the film. I did like Rambo more as action was its main driving force, Sly really want to deliver some plot and it does slow the film down at times, but I think he knows that as come the second film he steps down as Director and the balance of EX2 has way more laughs, even bigger names and action. This film is a great start to a franchise. The one distracting factor throughout this and the 2nd film is the CGI is pretty poor and Rambo for that matter I notice that Lionsgate is behind these films so makes me question if its down to them)

Sly Stone is one of my favorite actors and this movie doesn’t disappoint, this movie unofficially starts after the Rambo movies and the action is just as good if not better from beginning to end and with a cast of well known action heroes and main lead male characters we all know from movies and television you won’t be disappointed but on the edge of your seat from the bombs and explosions.

I always wanted to see some of the best action stars get together for a movie. I'm sure there are many others who wanted the same. Now, Stallone has done it. Starring himself and many other great action stars from Hollywood, comes an action movie you don't want to miss. This is a must watch and must own movie. Getting it in HD is a must. Great story and a ton of mindless action.

Good day to you internet viewer. I am here to inform you the merits of this exquisite digital versatile disk. Firstly, it appeals to the palate of any fan of the dramatic arts. Secondly, it has cast many respected and acclaimed actors so as to unite fans in brotherhood instead of adding to the discord and division that is commonly seen within society these days. Thirdly, they blow junk up. It's pretty great.

This was the Oceans Eleven of Action movies. An all-star cast of characters who are used to starring in movies now taking a seat behind more well known actors and the product doesn't suffer for it. The slow parts move the plot along pretty well and the action scene's more than make up for it. The final battle scene moves so fast you'll want to rewind a few times to make sure you see it all.

Just as corny and enjoyable as you would expect when the biggest 80's action stars come together.

This movie is pack with a ton of action movie stars. Overall, I would say it's decent.

You know all these dudes from the 80's and 90's. They were slathering on that cheese and making you happy by blowing up stuff for you. The story is paper thin with just enough to justify the action scenes. The extended edition adds a little pathos to the whole affair but it's not very different. It rocks and for a budget title you can't go wrong.

The Expendable Movies are great action films with a who who's of every great action star. Growing up watching action movies you were always wondering if certain actors worked together what it would be like. Well Stallone made it happen and cranked up the action meter. The Expendables is a thrill ride from start to finish. A must own.
