Another unique masterpiece well crafted by Wes!!!!

I am a Wes Anderson fan and am used to his eclectic film style. Those who aren't are best advised to try some of his earlier films first. This one is a tough one to love although the intentions were good. It is a tongue in cheek celebration of the impact a recently deceased print mag editor had on his colleagues in a three part story line. Parts are rather humorous others miss the mark but all are well acted by some of the more talented actors in Hollywood today. PQ was very good .While the screen formats varied considerably due to the multiple mediums employed to tell each story. Audio was mostly dialogue driven and clear.

For Wes Anderson fans, a Blu Ray pressing of this latest film is essential. Wes Anderson films are an acquired taste, however, his whimsical stories and casting make for the closest thing to viewing Chistmas movies year after year.

It took me way too long to watch The French Dispatch because I made the mistake of listening to the people trying to one-up each other with ways to put it down. This one is a technical/logistical marvel and real artistic accomplishment that I think will age extremely well. I was shocked it hadn't been nominated for a Best Picture Oscar ...until I remembered how bad the Academy is at this kind of thing.

If you like Wes Anderson's movies, you will enjoy his latest one, full of his usual stable of stars such as Bill Murray, Tilda Swindon, Owen Wilson and others. The movie is full of references to the glory days of such magazines as the New Yorker and their foreign correspondence. It was fun and funny.

Loved the artistic prisoner story. That alone would give this movie a five. I believe as a whole, the other stories just lessen the film. But I still think the set is worth getting if just even for the one story.

His movies are so unique and stylish including this anthology movie about a Kansas newspaper based in Ennui, France. Worth a look if you have artistic tastes and not into the usual mainstream movies. The French Dispatch Blu-Ray comes with a digital copy which you can watch online too!

Another great wes anderson hit. He has done it again. All-star cast. Funny,witty,smart and weird.Beautifully filmed with his artistic visual directors style. Great price for combo pack. Wish we could have seen it in theaters. Definitely a must own for any Wes Anderson fan!

Intricately choreographed, moving sets, world class cast of characters. Imagine Wes doing a stage play mixed with a bit of revisionist history of student led revolutions but dont take it too seriously.

Another great Bill Murray movie with other great actors. I enjoyed this movie a lot and would recommend it to anyone who likes a movie a little different from the usual. It also has a great storyline.

Wonderful transfer of a delightful film. I'm so glad I bought this because Wes Anderson's films are so rich with subtle sonic and visual details that get lost in streaming.
