As an aspiring Arkansan filmmaker, I’m usually interested in any film work that Billy Bob is involved with. Sam Rami collaboration on this one makes it all the more interesting. Best Buy had it available at a reasonable price.

Katie Holmes is young and gorgeous in this b-movie. Probably not something you would watch more than 2 or 3 times, but I have no complaints.

this movie is about a mom making her way, not only for her but her kid too. Using her gift to do so. She is darn in to a murder in the process. That she has to help with.

The cast of The Gift is incredible Cate Blanchett, Keanu Reeves,Giovanni Ribisi,Katie Holmes, Greg Kinnear, and Hillary swank. With the cast like this how can a movie go wrong

This is a great movie. Sam Raimi never disappoints. Great cast of stars. Really enjoyed this one.

A host of A-list actors show their chops in this dark, supernatural murder mystery. Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi are amazing and Keanu Reeves suprises as a redneck wife beater. This movie has a good mystery core and steps up the anticipation with supernatural elements. The ending, which some might see as breaking the suspension of disbelief doesn't bother me. I get caught up in the characters and the freedom that one finally experiences. The acting is outstanding in this and sweeps you along. The soundtrack (movie score, not the country music soundtrack) uses a violin to add a haunting and touching aspect to many scenes, especially the coda. It just might bring a tear to your eye. A nice gem for a cold Autumn night.
