What's not to like............Classic. If you never watched Take the time!!!!

This is a good take on the times where the mobs was trying to take control.

Sixteen years after Part II, Francis Ford Coppola & Mario Puzo gave us a third installment of history's most famous crime family. The results are great for the most part. It's 1979 and Michael (Al Pacino, great as ever) has legitimized his family's business practices, but he is still consumed with guilt over his past sins, especially his murder of his brother Fredo (at the end of Part II). When emerging business with the Vatican reveals a plot to destroy his family, his nephew Vincent (Andy Garcia), with the constant urging of Michael's sister Connie (Talia Shire), arrives to keep his uncle and their family safe. Like Alien 3, this film suffers when compared to what came before it (why, for instance, does Bridget Fonda's character just disappear so soon?). On its own, though, it is a masterful drama.

Probably not as good as the original two but still a good movie to watch. This time Michael Corleone is older and ready to retire from the mob life, but like he said in the movie,' Once I think I'm out, they pull right back in.'

While this film is not nearly as good as the first two, "The Godfather Part III" is still a very good film. The single-disc DVD looks good but only includes a commentary. Highly recommended.

Compared to the first two movies it definitely could have been done better. The movie feels like it lags at times. But in the end it is still a good mafia movie.
