While it's no ROYAL TENENBAUMS, this movie pushes Wes Anderson's skills to the limit. This is the first of his movies you'll find with a prison break, chase sequence, gunfight, etc. All of the classic charm and quirk is still there but Anderson truly grows as a director handling fast-paced and action packed set pieces.

Absolutely brilliant film with a ton of great cameo appearances. The story line is terrific, the cinematography stupendous and the comedy is top-notch. The film has a dream like quality to it and you will definitely appreciate the weirdness of it all. I recommend this film without reservation.

2014 isn't over yet, but this is, in my humble opinion, one of the best movies ever made. Literally every piece is created with such artful precision it seems impossible. The acting, the story, the dialogue, the set pieces, lighting, color scheme, cinematography, music... ALL top notch. Pay for this movie so that more like it get made.

Shot in real locations using the finest character actors to tell a story from days gone by. The detail to the art direction makes this one of the most creative and beautiful films in this style. Takes you back to a more charming time when the grandest hotels influenced historic events as if by magic .

This film was inspired on all levels! Incredible Sets, Intense Colors, Unique Design-- all in the name of a great 'artful' film! Terrific acting of some of the best actors in the biz, and best time ever spent watching this! A Must See! Personally believe this may be director Wes Anderson's personal best piece to date. ;o)

I know it has good reviews, but this movie was not for me. I didn't think it was funny at all. One of the few movies in my life that I turned off before the end. But you may feel differently.

Did not have much expectations at first and decided to skip this one in theaters. Best Buy offered this for their Deal of the Day, so I decided to check this one out. I can now see why this film received so many praises and won a lot at the Golden Globe and the Academy Awards. Definitely one of the best films of 2014.

If it looks like a Wes Anderson film, sounds like a Wes Anderson film, and feels like a Wes Anderson film, it's probably a Wes Anderson film. People will love it or hate it, and you never know which side you're on until you watch one. Grand Budapest Hotel is a good one to start with!

Wes Anderson has a particular style and this movie lives up to his standard. It's one that will keep you on your toes with how fast the locales change and the off beat banter of the actors. I'm sure everyone involved, and there are many unexpected cameos, had a great time filming this. It will bring smiles, exclaimations, and wonders as the story twists to it's final conclusion..

This movie contains Wes Anderson's trademark quirkiness, and is probably one of his more accessible films. If you even remotely like any of his other films, this one is worth a watch. The transfer on this blu-ray is top notch, as well. The only reason it doesn't quite make 5 stars is the disappointing lack of special features.

This movie is so charming, witty, and engaging, that I can't imagine anyone disliking it, to be honest. It's got the essence of Wes Anderson's other gems such as Fantastic Mr. Fox and Moonrise Kingdom, yet somehow manages to exceed his past work in phenomenal ways, in my opinion. Highly recommended!

Then what are you waiting for! Grand Budapest is right in line with all of Wes Anderson’s films. Quarky, nuanced, and dark humored. While we see many of the usual suspects, WA still manages to show us a view into his creative universe we haven’t seen before. Highly recommend

This movie is an all time fave of mine right up there in the ranks with Napolean Dynamite, The Goonies, and more. It had me laughing every second with witty, dry humor that I love and the color and locations and costumes and everything about this movie made it a beautiful piiece of eye candy as well. Incredible!

First of all, the art direction and photography direction of this movie is just amazing. The plot story is charged with a lot humor (black humor too) and very nice moments through the movie. A lot of good actors, some of them with small roles but well performed. Highly recommend!

Rented this one initially and knew I'd be watching it again (and lending it out). I am a big fan of the little worlds that Wes Anderson creates, even though they're not for everyone - my wife thinks his movies are hit-or-miss but she stayed with this one and my kids also enjoyed it - funny and a different movie experience than most of what we usually watch.

If you love Wes Anderson's style of film than this is another movie to add to the collection. The framework and the characters that Wes Anderson introduces to the audience are one of a kind. Ralph Fiennes gave an amazing performance surrounded by a great supporting cast. Definitely a must have for Wes Anderson fans.

One of Wes Anderson's best movies I think... We went so see this movie at the local cineplex when it first came out and very happy to see it again on Blu-ray. Funny, a little quirky for some maybe, definitely a dark comedy with the story told by a fantastic cast of actors. Happy to add this movie to our collection!

This movie is So good, great cast, great sets (obviously for any Wes Anderson fans reading), and the story and dialogue are omg I don't even feel like being serious about this. I'm gonna to get some taco bell and watch Mr. Robot WHICH IS F***ING AMAZING. Happy Friday ya biscuit heads
