Unique Game with Great Humor

Exceptional Game, I believe I was smiling the whole way through. Mainly it’s an on the rails shooter that you uses your left hand to move the character back and forth and jump and your right hand is used to mark your targets and shoot. Fairly simple, about 20 levels, does a nice job of mixing up shooting, some side scrolling like Donkey Kong, and a little boxing.
Over the past year my Kinect has mainly become an item I used when friends come over, which is fine by me, but Child of Eden and now this, Gunstringer, have become games I rush home from work to get a couple rounds in.
The game is fairly short, roughly 4 hours or so to beat, but it is packed with enough achievements and in games secrets to have me going back for more. Also the included DLC, an old school shooter similar to a game I played when I was younger, Mad Dog McCree, and Fruit Ninja add even more. Both the DLC and Fruit Ninja are short, but again enough fun for multiple plays.
Motion controls are not flawless, but work well enough for me not to have any real complaints. I believe the only real time I had tracking issues was during the 2 player mode and when I was sitting, but again not a big issue. A Wii controller would have made this a more accurate game, but there is something to enjoy with the uniqueness of Kinect.
They stated this as being the start of Kinect’s more core gaming, I wouldn’t exactly put it in that category. It’s definitely a fun arcade shooter, but nothing as serious or developed as the core games we are used too.
In the end, great humor, unique game, and included DLC/Fruit Ninja make this a solid buy.

Worst game I've ever played!

First off I never write reviews on items but always read them before I buy anything. The reviews I read about this game had me believe this would be a great game. It is horrible! I guess if youre a small child you might find it entertaining but because of some of the content small children can't play this game. I returned this game two hours after purchasing it & playing it for about 5 minutes. Which is all I could take it was so bad. Well let me re-phrase that, I "traded" it in for a $12.00 gift card after paying $40.00 because you cannot return a game once you remove the plastic wrapping. I guess we can thank bootleggers for this policy. Now honest people have to pay for their crimes. So to everyone with an IQ of a 7 year old or older, save your money & do not buy this game. Hopefully this will save someone the money & time it takes to "trade" this back in to Best Buy.

For Kinect titles, this game is second only to Kinect Sports. The story and game play are terrific. You basically use your left hand to move the gunstringer around and your right hand to select targets and shoot. The controls are very smooth and the entire experienc works very well. And as an added bonus, you get Fruit Ninja which is another great game Kinect game.
