This movie is wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Two things caught my eye. He was the star and it’s done by M Night Shyamalan. It’s a hit. I’m glad I purchased.

Starts out with lots of potential but, eventually begins to fizzle out !

I forgot about this movie and it's ok but for $5 it's not a bad purchase. The story had so much potential unfortunately it's just an average movie.

Mark was the only reason this movie was watchable. Still was a good value in bargain section of DVD's. Would not pay more than $5 for this.

I really like the film because I think the central point of it is that we are becoming about devours ourselves to the planet.

It's an interesting movie with a slightly different take on the apocalypse theme. Not too gory, but some of the scenes are definitely not for kids.

Though the movie did not generally receive great reviews from critics, I found the movie quite engaging. The screenplay keeps you on the edge. Definitely good to watch once.

Very meaningful for today. M. Night Shymalan movie. Lots of suspense. Leaves you wondering if "The Event" is already happening. The Happening [DVD] [2008]

it was ok, bought as a gift, saw the show, hope the one who receives it will like it, i actually watched it as well... it was ok

It has its good points with its unique story but it also lulls during numerous times during the film. I say give this movie a chance

Someone told me I should check this movie out. I picked it up for $5, so why not? Mark Wahlberg gives a pretty bad performance. The movie is very melodramatic. It's even convoluted at times, with the death sequences. After it's all said and done though, I can't help to wonder for the life of me, why people keep financing M. Night Shyamalan to make movies.

This is a good movie. Story line is a little out there but I enjoyed it. Not really you watch more than one. At least for me.

M night movies are cool because they usually take place not far from Harrisburg pa. Hits home a little when you live there.

Mark Walburg and company do a good job in this weird sci-fi movie. Nature's revenge for all the terrible ways we have treated her. Great movie!!

Shyamalan gets a lot of flack for this film, and it's definitely not his strongest, but it has it's moments.

The premise is a stretch but it was enjoyable. M Night directed movies are interesting stories even if it's not pulled off.

This movie has its benefits. It starts off with a good pretense it trails off to what it need to get across to the audience.

It's M. Night SHAYLAMAH. ITS GOT TO BE GREAT. I don't know of any of his movies that aren't awesome. The twists and turns are GREAT.
