I was looking forward to this movie because I have enjoyed M. Night Shyamalans other movies, but it was awful, the acting was terrible and it wasnt scary at all. The thing that is really dissapointing is that this movie could have been pretty good if they did a better job on it. I was laughing throughout the whole thing and not because the movie was funny because of how horrible the acting is.

Can't be nice about this one, this movie was just flat out horrible! I've always said that with M. Night you either really love his movie or you really hate it, as there seems to be no in between with this guy and this movie was horrible! Just in case I didn't say it already, this movie is horrible! The material for this movie had the potential of delivering the message that it was trying to deliver in a big way, but missed the mark completely with the acting being as horrible at it was. Seriously, I thought I was watching a school play or something....that's how bad the acting was. I just couldn't believe it. Even Mark playing the teacher was horrible and his girlfriend that he was with....give me a break! Everyone from Mark to the Military guy to the citizens themselves were just horrible. I was warned too, but failed to heed them b/c with M. Night you either really like his movie or you really hate it, so I figured I'd give it a try anyway and how wrong I was. Save yourself from becoming another victim of this movie and don't buy it!

Where to start? I'm terribly disappointed in Mark Wahlburg. Here I was thinking he'd turned into a pretty decent actor and then he shows up in this slow moving, brainless thing! The people in this movie were about as realistic as mannequins in a clothing store window. Not to give any of the plot away[as if there is one!], but John Leguizamo leaves his eight year old daughter with Wahlburg and his "wife" to go look for his own wife in an area that's been cut off by "suspected terrorists" [don't worry....it's not terrorists of the regular sort]. Now who would leave their daughter[who has already , more than likely, lost one parent] to go look for the other parent? Don't you think a scared to death kid deserves at least one parent in the picture? Anyway...there IS lots of blood, gore and all of that, but not much of a plot to surround it. I went to sleep twice while watching it the first time, if that tells you anything. A real stinker!

This movie will make you creeped out and wonder if that could ever happen. M. Night Shyamalan is a genius.

Great thriller. Another excellent M. Night Shyamalan movie.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MOVIE. DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. I hope this has made my opinion clear. This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting is bad with the characters being unbelievable. It seems as if the director decided to splice random death scenes together and call it a movie... and we are supposed to buy it!? You have been warned to not only save your money, but your time. Don't even bother if it is free to view or own!
