Love these movies! If you love the books; you’ll love the movies. No; it’s not 100% true to the books. No movie ever is. But they are nonetheless EXCELLENT!

I’m a huge hobbit fan first of all. I was really hoping the 4K transfer would be good, but I was wrong. It’s great!!! The audio, video and so crisp in every regard it’s mind blowing. If you loved these on blu-ray you’ll truly enjoy them in 4K!

The Hobbit films don’t live up to the legacy of the Lord of the Rings movies, but if you enjoy them then you need them in this set. They look and sound amazing.

I've been forgetting to write a review for this, but I personally thought The Hobbit looked better on 4K as it didn't go through some smoothing like TLOTR did. But overall even if you're not a fan of these movies, this is still recommended!

Five stars for Tolkien and ultra HD quality. The movie itself isn’t as good as the book or other LoTR movies and is way too long (why 3 movies?). But this media is superior to blu-ray in visual and sound quality

Great story that is even better in 4K detail. It enhances the detail and makes you want to watch it again.

The picture quality of this trilogy Is just about reference quality and so if you want to show off your system this will do. Picture and sound quality excellent, so if your a fan of the Hobbit trilogy you can't go wrong on this set.

First time seeing the hobbit movies and the sound is spectacular, and image at 4k left me and wife astonished, and that is saying alot because she is not into all the details that a 4k tv produces so that says alot!

Really enjoyed rewatching the trilogy in 4K. Brightened up the dark spots and overall it was more crisp and the sound better too. No problems with the disks at all. Glad I bought it. Now I need the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Soak and bask in the essence of the all seeing eye and orkes co-mingling in the burnt to crisp projects. Revisit your childhood costume play by witnessing grown men cross dress into long robes and dresses whilst maintaining their long and shiny hair. Meet shmeeegal who fills about 20 minutes of dvd time by saying absolutely nothing you can understand other than "precious". If it were me this is product placement and foreshadowing of the movie precious. Embark on a journey with a grey haired wizard who withholds his power to save his friends from orkes and later uses it to fight Sauron only to get his behind beat. A beautiful film filled with irony and love. It's a must see.

I'm watching these movies on a Samsung QLED base model tv and the quality of the movie is INSANE. Colors are so vibrant and beautiful, thinking of upgrading to an OLED and i cant imagine how great the movies will look on there!

The 4K is a step up from the Blu Ray. The best these movies have ever looked. Great deal since it was on sale and I had reward certificates.

These are STUPENDOUS and I absolutely LOVE the movies. Yes yes LOTR is better, but this is GREAT FUN and a lovely trip BACK to middle earth. Also, now the movies all look like the SAME movie in texture and color. Very cool.

Very crisp snd clear 4k quality picture. The DVD sleeves hold the discs much better than the LOTR trilogy case. I am very happy with this product and looking forward to binge watxhing it again.

Third dipping for me from DVD to BluRay now to this 4K version, without regret! LoL The 4K version is just AWESOME especially with HDR on my lazer projector with 100" screen and ATMOS sound tracks! Get yours now!

Great movie for any lord of the rings fans or just well done cinematography in general. It was worth it to me to purchase the hard copy of these to play in full HDR and surround sound. Well worth it!

It's like seeing this for the first time. Highly recommend getting this set in 4K especially if you are a LOTR fan.

This is a wonderful series to watch and the 4K make the films that much better. Reference quality audio. Outstanding picture for a 4k television, highly recommended.

Perfect to watch in a home theater on a big screen, awesome visuals and awesome sounds including Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Love the movie .Best movie to watch with family.
