Not a big Jack Black fan but regardless I was entertained by this family oriented film. Very unhappy that BestBuys only carried it on blueray and no DVD only option, spent 5 bucks more than was necessary for the extra disk.

We really loved this movie. May not be appropriate for very young kids as it could be a little scary for them. Part mystery and magical we found it was a fun family movie. Jack black was great in the role. Overall, very funny.

for a live action kids movie, it isnt bad. Me and my girlfriend went to the theaters to see it and I thought it wasn’t gonna be that great. But it surprise me.then once i realized eli roth directed it, i liked it even more.

I had forgotten about this movie release and happened to see it on the shelf...watched it on one of our cold rainy days here in Cali and actually enjoyed it quite a bit...Cate Blanchett has some comedic acting chops...

Jack Black, and Cate Blanchett pair well together in this romp about a creepy mansion. Great sets, and props, make for enjoyable eye candy. Plot is good and easy to understand. Worth a couple hours anytime of day or night.

both this movie at best buy a few days ago to watch this weekend with the wife and my kids thinking that it will be a good weekend movie to watch it turned out to be a great movie we all enjoyed watching.

This movie has a lot of different elements to keep the whole family interested. The elements the movie portrays is love, lost, magic, and overcoming difficulties. These elements make it a good family movie.

Good story-great actors! The kid is top notch! He is so amazing and I got lost and felt I was in the story! It wasn’t until I saw the extra content after the movie and realized how great the cast is!

The House with a Clock in its walls is a very entertaining movie. It was thought provoking and had several good twists. The price was good too. I have recommended this movie to friends.

Lots of great special effects and dry humour carry this movie enough to make it worth watching. Rent it first if you're unsure but I added it to my collection as a fun piece to pull out on occasion.

Loved this movie. My grandchildren also loved it, but the 8 year old found a few spots a little creepy, but, from my perspective, creepy good. Great actors, great plot line, and very interesting story.

While there is alot left out this movie gives you an overview of the book. Cast did well. The town and house acrually exist Marshall, Mich, The Cronin house. If you like Harry Potter give this a try!!

House is a great family film, though parts might be a little too stressful for really young viewers. But ultimately it's a film about family and learning to accept family. Highly recommended

Really great movie! Best part, it was filmed in my hometown! Only thing that I would change is the rating. I think it’s a little too “scary” in certain parts to be rated PG. I would suggest PG-13.

This is a funny and scary movie, It is a good movie for most ages.some younger children may find it scary, so you would have to use your judgement. I liked the move as I am a fan of horror shows.

Great movie especially for family Halloween fun. This digital version bundle allows for mobile watching without the need for DVD. Also comes in handy if your children tend to lose the DVD.

I really liked this movie. It was different from what I expected having never read the book but it was very good. It was scary and funny with plenty of suspense. My 7 year old loved it.

The House with a Clock in Its Walls is a great family movie all should watch. They are showing how a broking hearted family can build a new — a film with a great deal of love and laughter.

Eli Roth does good with a kids movie. It was fun with some intense scenes for a PG movie. Great gateway movie to horror for kids in the vein of the recently released Goosebumps movie.

This movie was pretty enjoyable. It had the potential to be even better, but didnt quite get there. It's a good family fantasy film. Jack Black and Cate Blanchett were both great in!
