I gave this movie a chance and I sure am glad I did. Funny movie with awesome dialog between the warlock and the purple witch. I highly recommend!

Have not watched this one yet. Looking forward to it as soon as baseball season ends. My kids recommend it, so I believe it will be good.

Good movie for family with a bit of s scare or two but not so scarry the kids or young adults will shy away. Good adaptation of a well written book.

It was a great movie to take he kids to. Not too scary for the younger kids but still interesting enough for the older ones not to loose interest.

Jack Black and Cate Blanchette have a quirky chemistry that really works. Some adult humor but your kids will probably never even know.

My family was transfigured and loved it. The only thing is that some religious people might find some of the content disturbing.

This is a movie for Jack Black fans. Even if you are on the fence about Jack, it's still a good fun movie. it has some amusing parts to it.

A few intensely “spooky” (as my son would say) parts to the movie but a pretty good flick. Jack black kills it and reliever humor and fun.

it was a fun fantasy escape movie. You do have to suspend some belief and logic to enjoy it, but that's the point of these movies anyways.

We rented the movie first and once we watched it we knew we needed it in our collection. It's funny, sad, serious...all over a good movie.

Story has several twist so keeping track is important, graphics and animation isn't the best, but its worth watching for the storyline.
