Excellent war movie and perhaps underrated amongst Best Picture winners! I love the steelbook packaging with a protective slip, and will miss Best Buy selling these exclusives.

It's one of the most intense war films ever. The bomb defusing scene was very suspenseful. Kathryn Bigelow, the director, has done some of the most amazing directing in this movie. The cast is on point. Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie are awesome in the movie. Would recommend seeing this movie. And again, Lionsgate will always have some of the best steelbooks! They deliver some of the most amazing artwork outside of premium steelbooks!!

I got lucky and this edition of Hurt Locker became available on Best Buy's site and got it right away. I wouldn't wait long to take advantage before it's gone again. The great sound and gritty look make this an upgrade over the 4K. Great steelbook art too. A must-buy as a collector and lover of this Academy Award-nominated film!

Love the artwork in this packaging design. The 4K transfer of the film was great on the audio end, while some of the scenes have their imperfections amplified due the way some shots for filmed. Still a good purchase over all.

Definitely one of the best steelbook art i have seen. Always enjoy the slip covers when added. If you enjoy war movies, this one is a must own! Pick it up before there sold out. jr_hybrid_collectables

Found a loose disc when I received it but luckily it wasnt damaged. Love the steelbook and plastic slipcover. Lionsgate steelbooks are great! Came shipped in a box with padding!!! Great trend for Best Buy if it sticks

The quality of the picture and sound were top notice. This being a Blu-ray edition I could expect no less. The film itself is realistic enough for me The actors for the most part did a splendid job of portraying GIs in a unpredictable environment. Jeremy Renner especially stands out as one who is dedicated to his job and finds it to be a place where he seems to be at home. One has to have a special sense of self in order to do the job he did. We really have to admire our guys for doing their job in such a war where one does not know what can happen the next moment or who is a friendly and who is not. I am sure it changes them in many ways. If it doesn't have they lost their humanity?

The Hurt Locker is not a traditional war movie. Sure, there are some fighting scenes and (of course) powerful explosions. But it is more of a character portrait of a bomb difuse engineer, played to perfection by Jeremy Renner. His real-life chance-taking based on the recent accident with his snow vehicle help to show why this role is perfect for him. The Dolby Atmos audio and 4k video presentation are far superior to the original blu-ray, and the cover artwork make the steelbook a worthy keepsake for this Oscar-winning film.

Had never seen this movie but it was a very good watch, one of the better military movies I've seen recently. It's shows the more realistic side of combat and dealing with the emotional effects. Stunning steelbook design, good to add to the collection.

Ive been trying to watch this movie ever since it came out but never got the chsnce. Im glad i was able to experience this 4K and Dolby Atmos. Its a great movie and has ground sound + video. Pick it up you get a chance.

This is a really great movie, and the steelbook is not anything less great. The exterior artwork is superb. While the interior artwork isn't as eye-catching, it has some of the best disc artwork I've ever seen in a steelbook.

Looks great! It came in great condition and it’s one of my more unique steelbooks. Definitely pick this up if you can!
