Great movie, with great acting. An awesome look back at what the war was like, and the drive to defeat the Germans. Difficult decisions were made; lives sacrificed to save lives. A true story not just about cracking the enigma code, but the first real computer.

The Imitation Game was nominated for Oscars for good reason. It's a captivating story and Benedict Cumberbatch certainly delivers in his role as the main character. It's nice that Best Buy had it for a decent price on Blu-ray format too!

Liked this movie a lot. The main character is the forefather of the modern computer yet few people know this. Some of the subject matter is not for kids but overall it is a great movie. The allies would not have won WWII without his machine.

Love this movie. Amazing true story and I think it was well done. Explains scientific and mathematic issues in a way you can understand as the focus gets under way. Great ensemble cast do a fine job. Story about tolerance is also well done.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightly act superbly. The plot has 3 simultaneous timelines which interweave to present a coherent, fascinating, and ultimately deeply moving and tragic view of the young, World War II, and post-war Alan Touring.

This film was one of the best films I have seen in a while. It held me glued to the t v and the acting by Benedict Cumberbatch was brilliant. The story is well done and I could see why it has 8 academy award nominations. Well worth a watch.

A well done movie looking at Alan Turing, it makes you appreciate how horrible our society can be towards people that are different. It's almost impossible to imagine how much farther computing would be if Alan Turing were still alive.

i went into the imitation game not knowing much about the story other than that Benedict cumberbatch and Keira knightly was in it. I'm glad I didn't because the story and acting and choreography was fantastic. Glad I picked up this movie

Once again wonderful performances by Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley. Great telling of the story of the men and women who worked in secret to change the course of WW II for the Allies in Europe. Great price from Best Buy!

This being based on a true WWII story makes it even more interesting for me. To see the efforts put forth to try and keep the world free is amazing. The predecessor to our computers of today. Wonderful acting.

The story, though considerably altered to make it more dramatic, is an interesting one, and Turing and Clarke's relationship is compelling in the film. Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley both give great performances in this film.

This movie was not only entertaining but also educational. I had no idea this about this man's story and how instrumental he was saving lives and ultimately winning the 2nd World War. It is a must see and for me it is a have.

True story of a genius war hero whose code breaking machine helped win WWII. Unexpected human rights story on this hero who was victimized and driven to suicide because of he was gay. Brilliant performance by Sherlock, too.

The best film I've seen in the last several years. A strong personal story set against a backdrop of momentous events. Too few movies are able to combine, or interested in combining, those things anymore.

Excellent movie with a great screenplay and acting. This DVD is the standard DVD. The blu-ray and Digital versions are sold in a separate package. I would have paid a few more dollars to have all 3 versions in one package.

Wow, this film has been on my radar since it was released in theaters but I was not entirely sure if I would find it as interesting once I saw it. Well, I watched it and though it was a fantastic film! Highly recommended.

I have a vast collection of films and I am always looking for new movies on DVD and Blue Ray. At Best Buy I have had the opportunity of finding new releases and also many classical films that are not easy to find.

A fantastic movie, excellent characters, and amazing acting. Well worth purchasing in a digital age of movie rentals and for those old school movie collectors, this movie makes one of the finest editions of the year.
