This movie was so good, it shows what's been lost between the generations of professionalism and chivalry, I highly recommend this movie to everyone

I really wasn't going to buy this movie but my wife wanted to see it. So, I purchased. I was surprised that I really enjoy watching it. I let my neighbors use the disc and they also liked the movie.

Great date night movie !! Robert D. is one of my favorite actors and doesn't disappoint.

This movie is about a "modern day" online company that takes on senior citizens as interns. One of these interns is assigned to the founder and boss of the company. Through out the movie both characters learn some new things while also bringing in some old school values and lessons. Maybe not the best movie but also not a bad one to watch if you are a fan of either of the two main actors. Has it's funny moments and serious ones but wasn't bored at any time.

Great movie at a great price! It's hard to enjoy new movies nowadays. Most of them have tons of profanity and bad story lines. This one is a hidden gem. My wife and I REALLY enjoyed it! Just get, watch it and you'll have a smile on your face. :)

This had such a light, comfortable tone and feel to it. It made you feel like you were part of or wanted to be part of their world. Everything in this was so natural and inviting. The acting, music and tone of it was all a perfect fit for this story. This story is about a young girl who started an online clothing store that is growing by leaps and bounds and has become a topic for discussion with the board members and share holders. They believe that the company may be growing too fast and could possibly implode. They force her to search for an experienced CEO to take over so that pressure can be taken off of her and better secure the future of the company. As she reluctantly searches she is trying to juggle keeping her marriage afloat and deal with this new Intern that has shown up and has been assigned to her because of a new senior Intern recruitment project the company started. Robert Deniro plays the eager and able senior who takes on this Intern position due to wanting another challenge in life. Together they both end up learning from one another as they enter this new chapter in their lives. Robert Deniro was the very definition of debonair in this. Never seen him be anything more than a hard guy so this was refreshing to see. Anne Hathaway was also very organic in this role as she is in mostly everything. It was fun and funny. Really easy to enjoy. It also had the lesson of learning to let go and to be confident in what you were meant to do. The scenery was also very pretty and filled with life. Nice camera angles and views of the architecture. Surprisingly out of all the good feeling the movie gives you it delivers real heartfelt moments that tug on your tear ducts a little. A really good enjoyable movie. Everything was evenly paced and put together properly to keep your attention all the way through. Clever wit and charm coming from everyone. You never have trouble believing any of them and doesn't contain any dull moments. 4 out of 5 STARS

I like both Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro and they deliver together. Good subtle humor. Respect your elders knowledge and take just a little time to enjoy life.

It may not be totally realistic situation, which I think it should be but this is the real world and mainly does not work out that way, but I just like the story and think it is worth a look, love the Digital.

Great movie! Seen it a few times, so thought I should buy a copy! Great chemistry between Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro.

I have watched this funny movie many times and Robert Dinero is excellent as the Intern. A must watch movie..!

This movie was wonderfully done. I thought the actors and actresses really made the movie worth watching.

A widowed 70 year-old retiree becomes bored after a while and looks for a new challenge, feeling that he has not outlived his usefulness. In a public relations move an online fashion company starts an internship for senior citizens. Ben Whitaker (Robert DeNiro) signs on and begins to work at the company run by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway). The differences between Generation X and the Silent Generation lead to some clever age jokes. The differences in work ethic and loyalty of an older working group of people is highlighted. Since Ben is not in competition for anyone else’s job, nor does he need the job, he can give unbiased advice and say the proper thing at the right time as well. He doesn’t wait to be asked to the right thing and looks for ways to make the workplace better for those around him. He begins to feel like everyone’s Uncle Ben, a trusted confidant with the wisdom of an elder from another time. Ben begins a new romance and develops new friendships in a story that has a happy ending. Nancy Myers does a wonderful job in writing and directing this “feel good” movie. My wife and I liked it so much that we bought it after renting it, with the intent of watching it again and again.

I love this movie. It taught me a lot about the value of life and getting help were you least expected

My husband and I both enjoyed this movie! Robert Deniro and Anne Hawthaway are great together.

Great date night movie (trust me guys!) I love that Ben ( the DeNiro character) is a successful and fulfilled senior who is just looking for opportunities to expand his life experience - not a needy senior who is trying to prove something. I loved that Junes (the Hathaway character) is a successful woman giving 110% to develop her business - and counting on her spouse to take the responsibility of the home front. I think the director, Nancy Myers, did a good job avoiding the pitfalls of stereotyping the characters. We like Jules even though she is a demanding micromanager - in part because she give a great deal of freedom to her employees who clearly like her and want to please her. We like Ben, even though he clearly misses his late wife, he has embraced this new phase of his life and you know if this particular opportunity didn't work out for him he would have found some other challenge. I liked that the relationships between the characters were believable without getting "preach-y". A very satisfying watch.

I'm not a big DeNiro fan, actually liked him in this.
