i've always enjoyed the old classic universal horror movies, and also along with them the invisible man. the thing i like about them is the way they play on the horror of the situation, in a light way and also kind of make it comedic at times. you will see many of the actors from the other movies in this one, but what is unique about this is that fact of invisibility. very impressed with the restoration of this movie, I could not see any flaws. The movie looked like it was just filmed and turned to blu-ray. I guess the only difference is that it was filmed in black and white which the younger generations may not appreciate as much, but I really enjoyed seeing this again and glad that universal has not done any colorization,I enjoy it the way it was meant to me seen and colorization would just distract from such great and fun story lines.

The Invisible Man is a classic Universal Monster film. It's also one of my favorite Universal Monsters. I love this film so much. The artwork on the cover is by Alex Ross. This Steelbook also has images form the film on the inside, which I always appreciate with exclusive Steelbooks. The Disc itself is the same one that has been readily available individually and as part of the Universal Monsters Complete collection.

The Invisible Man was first a great book by H.G. Wells, and then made into a truly classic film with Claude Rains in the lead role. This film is a genuine masterpiece in many ways. First, the acting is top notch, then their is a great script filled with suspense, action, and a nice sense of humor. Finally, the special effects are far ahead of their time--better than some in today's films. Audiences in the 1930's must have been stunned by these effects. Although not totally faithful to the book, this is a wonderful film which has stood up well for over 80 years. Highly recommended.

Just cracking this puppy open for a glimpse of the artwork is worth paying $18 for the steel book bluray of this film. I have an Alex Ross piece tattooed (Joker) and to see his name emblazoned on another fandom I love was just enough for me to decide which of the six to purchase first. Because the tooling and cleanup for the bluray was successful, you can actually see the texture on his bandages - was very impressed!

As beloved as “Dracula” and “Frankenstein” are, this James Whale film often gets overlooked. And that’s unfortunate - it’s my personal favorite of the early Universal Monster films. Excellently acted and extremely witty, it’s such a delight on all fronts. This gorgeous Steelbook does a great job of showing off the spectacular elements of the film. Highly recommended!

The steelbook is beautiful with a matte finish. The movie itself should be part of every cinephiles collection, especially fans of classic monster movies. The Best Buy Steelbook will make a beautiful edition to your movie library. If you already own the blu ray, the disc itself is the same as the previous release, so you won't be getting more content with this edition.

The Alex Ross artwork is beautiful. I'm not sure what to say about the film that hasn't already been said but it's a fantastic classic that is a must watch for any horror film enthusiasts. Definitely check out the other Alex Ross steelbooks and get em while you can! Beautiful additions to any collection.

The original Universal Invisible Man was more of a drama than a horror tale, and by story's end most viewers felt sorry for him when the police closed in at the end. Ross captures the shock of the police as they realize just what they've found. Worth the price just for the cover.

Alex Ross’s art for the cover of this steelbook is a masterpiece. It perfectly captures the mood and tone of the film. Great restoration of the classic film with fun features about the history of the film, its creature, and even info on Universal Studios.

Must see Universal Monster Movie Classic. Alex Ross out does himself on the artwork, and Best Buy outdid themselves with the packaging for the Steelbooks. Usually there is always a chance of the steelbook being damaged. this was well preserved.

This is an often overlooked movie in the horror world of universal monsters. Although Rains is not really there the whole movie, his introduction to the invisible man is a memorable one. The steelbook is perfection.

As with the other steelbooks in this collection, It is not glossy, but is of a “flat paint” type. Also comes with a protective sleeve, which is a nice sort of bonus, if you will. The movie is a classic, of course.

When I saw the Alex Ross Steelbooks, I just had to have them. They are so amazing, specially all together. Beautiful artwork, and the movies look stunning in HD. Plus bonus, these steels come with a clear slipcover for protection.

I really don't know if there is an artist I like more than Alex Ross. His covers on all of the Universal Monster steelbooks is fantastic. I want them all.

What can be said about this classic. It’s a must see for horror and cinema fans. The Alex Ross strelcase is gorgeous. I have these films already but collected all the steelcase ones I could find.

It was made a long time ago but the special effects were top of the line then. It lead other people to work harder to perfect the special effects to be better. It is worth watching.

Amazing artwork for an amazing movie. So glad there is a digital copy. Universal continues to deliver as they are a studio which is partnered with Movies Anywhere.

Clean, crisp transfer of a classic movie with interesting extras on the blu-ray. A great addition to any horror fan's collection. I plan on getting the other movies in the series.

Great packaging, the steelbook art looks amazing. Great transfer, the movie looks fantastic. Well worth the money. Definitely great to see these movies being released in Blu-ray
