Remember it's not Tarzan(raised by monkeys) it's Moglie (raised by Wolves). Characters are great, except ShearCon was not very good, and the scene very short. The 3 vulchers never show-up, "...don't start that again..." sadly missed. Some liberties were taken and the story rewrites a bit but it was ok. Just seemed rushed - like they needed more time but chose to cram all they could into a preset time limit. WHY? but, when all was said and done it's Jungle Book, a story we all know and love

Love this version of the movie. I'm old enough to remember when the cartoon first came out and have been a fan of the story for years. This was great live translation of the story. Just on the merits of this film, I'm looking forward to The Lion King live version being worked on now by the same director.

Movie - Great addition to my movie collection. Nice to have a family friendly movie that everyone can enjoy. This movie follows the story I remember from my childhood but adds the twist making it its own. Music holds true to the original classic. I would recommend this to all looking for a great movie.

Yea, this movie was a surprise! I didn't think they could beat the original musical, but they did!! Must have it in 3D!! Thank You Best Buy for stocking it!! Remember, buy Blu-Ray's, don't stream --- Don't trust your favorite movies to someone elses server - it may not be there when you want it!!

I love Blu-rays and this movie is a pretty phenomenal adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's Timeless classic. The character development is extraordinary and the CGI while obvious and some points really adds to the larger-than-life feel of this movie it is a great story with great actors and an amazing cast

Fantastic Movie, just wish Disney would release their latest movies on UHD 4K Blu-Ray. We love the original Jungle Book animated movie and this one really doesn't try to take away from the original. It provides an incredibly realistic take on the original and the special effects will not disappoint.

Was a bit nervous before going to the theater to see this one. Didn't know if I was going to get the classic animated movie with talking animals and dancing. But Favreau outdid himself on this one. The CG was outstanding, and the voice acting was on point. The actor of Mowgli was awesome as well

Another great movie adaptation of a classic cartoon and story. The CGI was great. The storyline, even with the few changes it had, was fantastic. The pace was good. The film made those of us who grew up watching the cartoon definitely reminisce and yet opened doora for a younger viewing audience.

If you have a 3D system...this movie is what it's meant for....wow. Like 'Life of Pi' you will really appreciate so much more in 3D. A little too much sensory over load for younger than 7 or 8 year old kids, but as a 3D film the whole family can enjoy together, it more than fills the order.

Ok, so I did not expect to like this remake. I thought there would be no way they could replicate the majic of the original as a live action. I was very, very wrong. Great job to the creators and actors here. This is a wonderful version that stands on it's own.

This live action version was tremendous. It capture all the charm and wit of the Animated version, while having it set in a "real world" setting. I highly recommend this to any Jungle Book fans and recommend you check out the bonus features for some very interesting behind the scenes "stuff".

I wasn't sure what to expect when watching this movie. As a lover of the original cartoon version, I was a bit skeptical. Not only were my fears put at ease, but I loved it! The special effects are great, the story is familiar but changed just enough to make it new, and the acting is superb.

Amazing remake of a childhood book. I'm totally in love with this movie. My entire family (kids ages 20,19,16,13) couldn't get enough. We have watched it several times and haven't gotten bored of it. Definitely a movie for kids of all ages. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I have 2 boys, my oldest would sit and watch movies all day. My youngest is total opposite. No movie has ever caught his attention BUT this movie has! We made a special trip to buy this movie for him and he watches it daily!! Highly recommend this movie for children. A must have movie!

Visually, great. Acting and script, great. HOWEVER..... Disney already made our Jungle Book. I was expecting a live version of the same everything. We needed to see more cuteness between our beloved bear and human cub, and we needed to see more jungle. I'm talking lush, greens everywhere.... we don't get that, strangely enough as you'd think. The jungle was actually a weird layout... it had me and then again.... not as much as it should have.

This movie takes all the loveable (and despised) characters from the original animated movie and kicks them up a notch. Funny, exciting, sad, and beautiful...all in one perfect CGI animated package. All will love this movie, except some scenes may be scary for very young children.

I wish you could offer the 3D Blu-ray, but that's not your fault, it's Disney, they release it in Europe, and leave us with the basic Blu ray, and then later on, release a special edition with the Blu ray and have us double purchase the same movie, Shame on Disney, not on Best Buy

This Disney movie was better than I expected. Mowgli is raised in India by a pack of wolves along with a black panther for a guardian. The movie tends to make the Kipling story come alive. The tiger out to kill Mowgli makes a decent menace and fear factor.

IF you love the book or the original cartoon version, you will love this real life version too. I have watched it numerous times since we've bought it. Although I will say, not for the kiddos if they are small. Could be some points in the movie that deem scary for the little ones.

Much better than I expected. Bought it for my nieces and nephews to watch when they come over to visit. But once I started watching, I noticed that it was just a good movie regardless of whether it was geared towards kids. Interesting from beginning to end.
