Having seen all the Jungle Book movies before, I wasn't sure if another could be any better. I was wrong. This version was really enjoyable! I don't know how they can keep rewriting the storyline and still keep it familiar and close to the original story, but they did it again!

The Jungle Book surprised me. I thought it was going to be a bad remake, but it turned out to be very good. The visuals are amazing, as it won an Oscar for it. The performances were all great too. You should definitely see this one when you get the chance.

I truly enjoyed this movie. For those of you wondering... It looked wonderful being played on my non 4K x-box as well as playing on my 4K blu ray player. In all, the graphics in this movie are just on point no matter what you watch it on. (I do have a 4K tv)

The classic Disney's The Jungle Book gets the live-action treatment, perfectly directed by Jon Favreau. The movie is a joy to watch and has some intense scenes with Shere Khan. Bill Murray as Baloo and Sir Ben Kingsley as Bagheera lead a stellar voice cast.

Not sure why they waited to release this one in 3D... they would have profited more from releasing Frozen 3D way more. Still, a stunning picture in 3D and it makes the film just that much more enjoyable. Side note, anybody else find it odd that Mowgli has 0 pectoral definition for being a kid that climbs trees, eats healthy, and exercises non-stop... or is it just me? Obviously, he resembles the animated film perfectly though. Well done Disney.

This live action version was beautifully filmed! it was also more realistic in the sense of how animals interact with each other. Small warning for those with little ones, there is violence and King Louie is slightly startling due to his enormous size (scared my 4 year old).

Excellent storytelling! The CGI is just amazing! The story and characters are thoughtful and poignant. Comes with the DVD/Blu-Ray/Digital so it can be redeemed on laptops/tablets. It's a great family film - just some of the animals can be a little scary for the little ones.

I loved the animated original Disney version of this movie, so I was quite skeptical in going to see the live remake. IT'S FANTASTIC THOUGH! True to the story, and the characters are portrayed perfectly. So much fun to watch and a great movie to enjoy with the family.

The original classic movie from Walt Disney was one of my favorites growing up and this remake from Jon Favreau is a visual masterpiece and still keeps the magic from the original film alive. I love it and can't wait for his vision of The Lion King to come to life.

Honestly I was skeptical when I first heard they were making a live action movie but this movie completely blew me away. The cgi animals looks amazing, the human actors are perfectly cast. I really like this movie & definitely worthy addition to my movie collection.

My wife and I really enjoyed this film when we saw it in theaters. At first she didn't think she would like it, but she loved it. I was always a fan of the old animated version growing up so I enjoyed the little nods and easter eggs pointing back to the older film.

Overall a good family film. I have seen many versions of the Jungle Book, and this one is different because of the fact that the only real human in the film is Mowgli. Hard for an actor to pull this off. With so much screen time and interaction only with CG animals (green screen shots), he has to be believable, which at first I was unsure of. He does grow on you though. Themes of overcoming abandonment, family, strength all positives.

To properly set the expectation of my review; I'm a casual movie goer, I do not consider myself an expert film critic by any means. With that said, I found The Jungle Book to be entertaining. I enjoyed watching the progression from the original cartoons to this modern version of the story. There was sufficient action and development of story line to keep my interest piqued. I would recommend this movie for a family movie night,

Have viewed this film four times now and will be watching it again. Each time it seems to get better. Disney has outdone its self with this one. This film has a great message and the acting by the live character deserves an Oscar nod. This actor is going places.

I have to say that when I went to see this movie, I didn't fully know what I was getting myself into. However once I saw it, I was blown away! Disney did a great job with the remaster and it held true to the cartoon one. This is a film that I would fully recommend!

This movie was so good. So many great actors and actresses. I could easily watch this movie again and probably will. My family and I loved it and there are many funny scenes. This remake is better then the orignal. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone.

If you love the Jungle Book story, you will love this movie for the family. Well done with all the new technology out there to make the animals and scenery look so real. Very well done and this coming from one who was used to the original "animated version."

Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of the original jungle book. This however is so endearing, and so visually stunning that you can't help but be drawn in. Great work by the voice actors, the little boy, and the gfx team for firing on all cylinders on this one.

The original Jungle Book is my favorite movie of all time, so I was very nervous about seeing this version, however, I was blown away. The boy playing Mowgli did an incredible job. Great effects, brilliant animation, and a great addition to the collection.

I was a skeptic when I saw the trailers for this movie. I was not a huge fan of the animated film so I went in to this with very low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. Directed by Favreau, who also did Iron Man this was a great movie. Highly recommended.
