A puzzle adventure game with a good emotional connection at the core of it, with a boy and a giant cat-bird creature. The AI for Trico can be frustrating for some people, and it doesn't run that well on a non-Pro PS4, but the story and emotional highs make up for it. To an extent, Trico isn't supposed to listen right away as that's how a dog or other pet would be when you're first training them. There are moments where the AI is clearly not sure what to do. It didn't hamper my experience much, just be patient. If you own a pet yourself, you should be fine.

Despite the clunky controls, this is a beautiful, mysterious, immersive game with a fantastic story and mystifying world.

This is more of a relationship and trust adventure than any other game. Spatially interesting, as the moves are not human ability based. Occasionally confused AI, but rewarded when providing clear instruction. Incredible animation.

Great game. Family enjoyed it! You play A powerful beast awakens in The Last Guardian. You play a young boy who meets this colossal creature called Trico, and forms a deep bond with him as he explores the ruinous world around him.

I was a little apprehensive, reviewers have been pretty unanimous about camera control issues and Trico's AI being bad during their playtime. I haven't had any of those problems. In fact, I was surprised at how good Trico responds during gameplay. The most I've had to wait for Trico to do what I wanted after pressing a button input was 5-10 seconds. The reason why I find this game incredible is in its cinematic presentation and strong theme in boy and giant hippogriff monster solve environmental puzzles together.

I can't emphasize the impact Shadow of the Colossus had on me when I was about 20 yo, when I felt confused, and isolated from the world. Till this day it is my best game of all time. In some way it shaped me, the way I look at things, interact with people and view myself. In Trico the last guardian you continue the journey of a little boy and the giant beast within him/yourself. I hope more people could enjoy it, and have a great time.

I have seen one person play it and knew I had to have it. I fell in love with Trico. The game tried to make it so you really connected with the creature. There are times when the camera would clip through the environment or it was fade to black. Sometimes the controls also weren't doing what they should be doing. Although those bugs can get annoying at times, it doesn't take away the experience of the game. It's still really enjoyable

This game certainly isn't for everyone. Its buggy, glitchy, the camera sucks, the controls are clunky, Trico doesn't cooperate half the time. But despite all that I can't help but love it. Trico is a creature unlike any other in video games and I grew attached to him throughout the story. The visuals are surprisingly pretty and the music is lovely. I really recommend this game to people who love good old adventures and can handle some flaws.

From the makers of ICO and Shadow Of The Colossus. If your looking for a 'different' type of game then buy this. The emotional story and setting really draws you into the game.

True story-telling magic is something I have always loved about video games and it seems these days that it can be harder and harder to come by even with how much of a market the video game industry has these days. I loved playing Ico and Shadow of the Colossus on previous generation playstation systems and this game is an amazing addition to that body of work, while building off of what made those games great and taking it to the next level. Well worth the long and eagerly anticipated wait. I hope you are ready for a grand adventure.

This is another great release from the makers of Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. If you enjoyed those two games, this should be a no brainer to pick up. However, while the overall story was moving, you are taken out of the immersion a bit by some slightly awkward camera angles and also the difficulty in trying to position and move around your animal companion. Still a very worthy game that I thoroughly enjoyed.

This game had been in development for what seemed like forever. However the finished product is satisfying. Great gameplay and graphics especially when played on the ps pro. 4k scaling with HDR. Highly recommend!!

It not subtle or nuanced or anything, it tasteless and lukewarm. But, it alright. It reminds me of shadow of the colossus, which I like, but same game, more or less.

A very well made game that has a wonderful story and beautiful graphics that is too hard to control. Loved every minute of it.

The game mechanics need work, but it looks great. If you love the ico series you will enjoy this game. There are some control and mechanics issues, feels rushed.

The last guardian is a game based upon story telling and it exceeds the genre excellent addition from the team who brought ico and the shadow of the colossus

Great game. Graphics are phenomenal and the relationship between both characters is heart warning... I'm a huge fan of Ico & Shadow of the Colossus so this addiction to the collection was worth the wait.

For a game that was in development for so long you would think this game would have come out as polished as can be. It does look great and at times when its all working right can be a good time. The problem is the bad controls, and terrible camera work. Maybe they can patch it and make it better. Not worth the hype in my opinion.

It was a real surprise to see this game actually come out, the graphics are definitely dated but the characters are charming and game play is intriguing.

The game has heart and adventure. I enjoyed the previous titles so I thought I'd give this a try. It was wonderful. I sorta had low expectations because of the non publicity it was getting. This game had great puzzles and mysteries. The story is enthralling and fun considering it doesn't get much credit for being a great game. I was happy with my purchase.
