The best game for 2022 you should play it and enjoy it.

Great RPG i really like the format of the game. A lot of action and great story.

Little special or outstanding from other jrpg and rpg, it only has japanese voices, it's notva bad game but it's not a masterpiece, recommended for rpg lovers and jrpg completionists mostly.

Such a fantastic series. Great switch port and highly recommended to anyone looking to jump into this series. While I do recommend you start with trails in the sky this game wouldn’t be a terrible spot to jump in and enjoy the trails series.

This series is simply the best pure JRPG going. I’m thrilled to get these translated and on modern consoles. This duology may well be the high point of the Trails games this far - an excellent place to start.

Very fun old style JRPG. The game is fun and engaging, highly recommend forore traditional games from the1990s and 2000s

Finally this game comes out to the west. Such a fantastic classic that still holds up today against the juggernauts of RPGs. Definitely a must buy.

So worth playing on the switch. I was surprised by how well the character models looked.

This arc is incredible!! The entire series is an amazing storyline. Stellar graphics, characters and places to explore. Total trails fangirl :)

Not a happy customer. Went to pick up the deluxe edition and was given the regular one. Til them that the pic doesn’t actually state what edition even tho the website does. Now I know why they are losing money and customers

The Legend of Heroes: Trails From Zero is a surprisingly great Switch port, and is actually even better than the version released for the PS4 which is a rare sight. The port runs great and even has a bunch of options for turbo mode making grinding essentially effortless. The story is great per usual for the Trails series, and even references the previous trilogy in the series (Trails in the Sky) quite heavily. The version on cart is 1.0.0 so an update will be required for certain improvements such as the "press y to quickly access the save menu while in the main menu" shortcut, but otherwise I have nothing else to say about the quality of the port itself. Don't expect this title to go on sale, as it has been quite the undertaking just getting this to be available in English and it is actually a co-production with NIS America and the Geofront fan translation team. The sequel, which comes out next year, supposedly has the most text of any game in the entire series besides Trails of Cold Steel III and IV, so having these relatively niche games finally available in English after over a decade is quite special.

This game is part of a massive narrative that spans over various story arcs in the Legend of Heroes series. This is only a small piece of that narrative; however, you will spend many hours just playing this small part. The gameplay is basic turn-based action. It lacks the polish of some of the newer games in the Legend of Heroes franchise. It is still enjoyable. To get the most out of this series this needs to be played with the Trails of Cold Steel and Trails in the Sky games.
