Amazing series! Feels like a Persona game with a little less hassle to be completed. An absolute must have for any RPG collection. The story line is great and you have multiple games to play through 1-5!!! It wont win any awards for graphics, but I love the characters and the story progression.

I owned this for the PS Vita, and while it now loses its portability it more than makes up for it with the graphics and improved features. The ability to port a save file is a great bonus for veterans that want to revisit the story and gameplay for the 3rd and 4th installment of the series. Includes some nice bonuses.

The best rpg series you probably haven't heard of. This arc spans 4 titles and it's best to play them in order and well worth it. The first game starts off very slow but stick with it because it leaves you on an insane cliffhanger! the second game is all throttle and I can't wait to see where this story arc ends.

This game is very good I own part one and now I got part two and I love it so much that I just pre ordered part 3 can't wait for part 4 this games are so good I believe when you play it your going to get hook on it like I did I like rpg games every time a new one come out I have to get it I know you are going to like it too.

One of the most story involved and interesting JRPG's in a long time. I truly enjoy the Trails series and I am glad it was revitalized for the modern console. This has all the classic rpg elements. Magic, Tech, many characters and personalities, and a talking cat. Cant wait for Trails 3.

Awesome game. I love that each pc and npc has there own personality and sorry. A very deep well thought out game I was able to easily transfer my save from the PS3 version and received some cool benefits as well. I was disappointed that the Trails in the Sky Joshua and Estelle outfits are missing from the included DLC even if you previously had them in the PS3 version of the game. The main reason I got the PS4 version was for the turbo mode and I'm happy to report that it works well. Overall would have given 5 stars save for the missing dlc content

If you're on the fence about picking this up, I'd definitely urge giving this a buy. This is a great JRPG. You'll want to play the first one ahead of playing this. Having both available on the PS4 is really convenient and that "turbo" function speeds things up so much. Being able to get through battles faster and moving around the map faster is really a godsend. If you like JRPG's, then this is a must-play series. Great time to jump in and play this since Trails of Cold Steel III is out in the fall of 2019. If you've played the PS3 or Vita versions, the Cross-save functionality will allow you to transfer your old saves. Just know that you can't use the PS Plus cloud saves to transfer things. You have to go into your old Vita or PS3 game and upload your saves from inside the game using the Cross-save functionality.

If you liked the first game you will love this one, the turn based combat is amazing, the best of tatical with all the standard of old school, excelent game, played on vita, will play again on the PS4 while waiting the 3 and 4. Go NIS america and Xseed

Part 2 of the wonderful Cold Steel arc for the Legend of Heroes storyline. Wraps alot of what part 1 set in motion very nicely and the combat was only improved upon from the first game. MUST play part 1 first to have any idea of what's going on here.

Trails of Cold Steel II picks up right where ToCS leaves off. If you enjoyed the first one, then this is a must have to continue the story of Class VII. As a whole, the Trails of Cold Steel series is one that I highly recommend for all RPG fans. Falling under the Legend of Heroes umbrella, it tells the story of the nation of Erebonia while making minimal references to situations that occurred in the Trails in the Sky series. The character development in Cold Steel is nothing short of amazing and while the first game was more world building, the second one has definitely been more action without skimping on the necessary story telling. While I could go on for hours, I won’t. I’ll just say that this story was a great way to end the PS3 generation and is a welcomed edition to the current generation. Pick this up... you won’t be disappointed.

If you haven't played the Trails of Cold Steel games now is a good time to do so. It is re-released on PS4 and it is better than it was before. A great game for those that enjoy an engrossing story and character growth through a long journey.

Originally released for the Vita and PS3 was ported to PC with quality of life improvements, additional content and a nifty turbo mode that is a welcome addition to those that want to do multiple play throughs. Now that PC port, being the definitive edition, has arrived for PS4 and it has been worth the wait. The frame rate stays at a consistent 60fps while actually playing in dungeons, fighting enemies or just running around town. The only parts where it got choppy for me in my 80+ hour play through was during a couple of cutscenes. Despite those minor blemishes they do nothing to detract from the enjoyment of what imo is one of the greatest JRPG series of the decade. The voice acting is fantastic, the music is wonderful and the entire experience is wrapped up nicely in a package that emanates classic Falcom charm.

I really enjoyed this game and originally played it on ps3. The relentless addition was worth money. The turbo mode is nice to speed up scenes and the included DLC makes the game more enjoyable, love this game!

This game is a group of high schoolers who also fight battles in their free time. Tons of sorry and lots of people to talk to in game. From the same team that made the Ys games.

The Trails of series is one of the best JRPG series currently running . From the engaging story to great characters and fun combat system, Cold Steel II is no exception, dive in before III releases.

I have been a fan of JRPG since the SNES. If you are a fan of the turned base system, you will enjoy this game. As for the story, I haven't gotten very far but it does seem promising.

This is a direct sequel to the first game. The characters are just as good. I prefer the first game, because the story in that one makes a bit more sense, while this one can be a little convoluted at times. Similar to the first game, the story in this game is interesting and good, but has moments when it drags. I'm still interested in the series and want to play the next game.

The second game in the Trails of Cold Steel series. It's a traditional jrpg with good story with social aspect like a little bit of persona game. Combat is combination of turn base and mech.
