I'll review the package deal but know that the game is absolutely amazing. The special edition comes in a nice box with gold foil lettering. Inside the package you get: the game, a vinyl map, a coin, and a switch travel bag. The map, while nice and of high quality, doesn't show any points of interest. It looks like a map that had the ink saturated and washed out. The coin is.....A coin. Nothing to write home about, it has some artwork from the game on both sides. I'm just going to leave it in the box. The switch carrying case is the reason I opted for the special edition. It's will put together with a hard rubber shell. It securely hold the switch on one side with a divider that holds up to 12 switch games. The other side has a mesh pouch for extra controllers or straps. My daughter discovered that it also could hold a 3ds XL in it instead so if you wanted to go out with both, you could. This is a really good value.

Most innovative game I have played in a long time. The first open world that works and functions as an actual world. The world is vast but no matter where you are in the game there are interesting things happening all around you. I cannot recommend this game enough!!!

The special edition of this game came with some great bonuses; the music and the map are great additions for fans, and the Switch case is actually pretty well made. If you find it for a good price, then definitely pick it up.

Breath of the Wild is the best Zelda game ever. I"ve played them all and this game is just perfect. The bonus items with the SE were fine, but the Sheikah Slate carrying case is awesome and perfect to carry around your switch. Couldn't be happier for Link to return.

I've put 80+ hours into this game and this game is absolutely magnificent from start to finish. The exploration is top notch in this game, so much so that I was inclined to explore the entire map first before actually starting the story. The physics and gameplay are also very enjoyable with interesting mechanics such as Magnesis which allows you to move metal objects around and Stasis which freezes time briefly and if an object is hit, the object gains inertia allowing it to be propelled in many directions. Besides those aspects and the story, the puzzles are also crafted expertly while being easily solvable too. The only let down for me about the game was a lack of good/memorable music (besides a few themes) compared to other Zelda games and the menu can be annoying at times. All-in-all though I'd say this is a top tier Zelda definitely worth buying, preferably on the Switch for the portability.

This game is awesome!! This is a must have collector's edition for any Zelda fan. The box is huge!! the art on the box is beautiful and it definitely feels like a special edition. The case that comes with it is super cool, and so are the other extras. Must have!

We all know BotW is amazing and worth the cash, but what about the special edition? It is a great buy. All the extras are great but I would say the included case and soundtrack excerpts are the real value. If you are getting BotW for Switch, get this bundle.

Love the game so far and the extras that come in this Special Edition. The case is awesome looking and can't wait to listen to the soundtrack disc it comes with. The box was bigger than expected when I received and great for displaying around the game room.

Not only is the game amazing... but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of all the extras that came with it. The map was especially well done. It has a very nice textured feel to it. The case is also great, as it gives you slots for your extra games.

The perfect set for the super Zelda fan! The game is great! The case is an awesome collector piece and it's great for storing your Switch. It's a real shame these were so limited. I would have loved to have gotten one for my Son for his upcoming birthday.

This is one of the best Zeldas I have ever played. I love the amount of freedom it gives you. Considering how big the game is, it deserves the giant box this SE comes in. The case is really nice, as is the map. I could do without the coin but it's neat.

As you can see by the title, I bought two copies of this game in order to fully experience what Nintendo was bringing to us. Here's my review for the Wii U version The thing about The Legend of Zelda games is that they rarely come out as full fledged games. You can tell with this one that they spent a lot of time perfecting the world they envisioned. I love this Zelda game because it brings back the challenge and doesn't hold your hand at all. The world is amazing, the combat is fun, the graphics are good (mostly on account of the art style chosen). You will not regret the purchase of this game. The Switch version of this game is mostly better, with higher resolutions, and typically better framerates. Plus, you can take it with you on the go. Along with this version comes the amazing soundtrack, a great carrying case for the Switch, and some doodads.

The Breath of the Wild gives the Legend of Zelda franchise the shot in the arm it's needed for quite some time, innovating past the boundaries and formulas of previous games. Nintendo has been doing its research, learning from what peers are doing, and then finding ways to improve upon it. And for the first time the game is actually a real challenge. Not on Souls level, for sure, but some things are going to take a little trial and error, especially with the freedom you're given. You can pretty much go anywhere you want after the initial tutorial-ish section, and create your own adventure, carving a parth across Hyrule as you see fit on your quest to save it. Some may go one way while others a completely different one. I trekked across the desert first while others I knew headed for the Zoras, or even Death Mountain. Go get the game, start your adventure.

Have you ever played a game so awesome that you intentionally savor it, take your time with it and dread when it will actually be over? Everything about this game shows delicate attention to detail. Initially I was worried about the departure from the established conventions in this game but upon experience, I find that my reservations were unfounded. The game is beautiful to look at. Every conflict is dangerous. If you see a group of enemies, you have to plan out how you are going to attack them. Bosses shift patterns to keep you on your toes to ensure that there will be no easy wins, the game surprises you just when you think you have seen it all. If you love the Zelda series, know that this game shakes up a lot of things while still being true to the series. This is probably to the Zelda series what Mario 64 was to the Mario series.

This set was perfect! The case was just what I needed to tote my new Switch around. The map was really nice quality. The soundtrack is amazing, and the coin was top notch. Oh yeah, and the game! The game alone was worth every penny!! A great buy!!

I'm bummed out the Master Edition sold out as fast as it did, but this is definitely a nice collection and just lacks the master sword and fancy box. The soundtrack cd is great to listen to, the shiekah coin is beautiful, and the case is as well.

This is an awesome game that I've played for over 100 hours. Awesome open world, graphics, characters and exploration. Only thing that could be better is that the world could have more in it such as towns, people, etc. Must buy for the Switch.

I purchased the Special Edition, which also included the CD, map, coin, and Switch carrying-case along with the game. I was not disappointed. The CD included some of the best pics from the game. The map feels and looks great (it purposefully has the weather-worn look). Case's design is sleek and perfect for easily carrying/protecting the Switch and its games. Not only is Breath of the Wild the best open world I've played, it is, without a doubt in my mind, the best Zelda game so far. It has the quintessential feel of every Zelda adventure, but breaks away from the conventions of impassable walls, predetermined sequences of events, and a predetermined experience. The player can solve a puzzle in MANY unique ways. After comparing my play-through with other friends', each of our adventures is so unique! I would recommend it to anyone.

I was unable to get my hands on a master edition, but this is the next best thing! The box it came in is beautiful and I love all the goodies inside. The game itself is beautiful as well. I'm taking my time and enjoying every minute of it.
